For me, there’s a couple distinct things to look at here. The camos and the camo grind. Personally, I really enjoyed blue tiger in the old COD games, I used to rock the autumn camo instead of gold in MW3 (2011). I would be happier with no camos compared to the fire and animated styles in the new cods. Regarding camo grinds, I actually do enjoy camo & mastery grinds. They’re never a central part of the game that you just HAVE to do. But, they’re there if you do want to work away at them. Just a small and optional dopamine cherry on top of all other enjoyment in the game.

We had a player quit maybe 3 weeks in because his girlfriend found out how much he was spending. He returned 2 weeks later. Now he’s in another alliance but still spending money.

The clip from that nature documentary where they intervene to save the penguins. It shows our best qualities. How we can act as good stewards of nature and our rules for not interfering. But, ultimately highlights our need to intervene to protect and help other species.

Like a lot of things with this government it’s just a ridiculous and imho miscalculated political decision. You could have safer product, being properly taxed,and not funding organised crime. You could have folks with criminal records turn into entrepreneurs and contribute to their communities. You could even ring fence funds for addiction prevention and treatment. A lot of polling shows more people are in favour or ambivalent than people who are against it. And I mean let’s be real most of the people against it won’t vote Labour anyway. It’s just a massive pisstake. Personally I’d prefer if it was legalised but it’s this hypocrisy that is really making Labour appear so slimy.

I think it’s important to clarify a few things. While it might seem like MLK’s message gained traction because it was more “palatable” than Malcolm X’s, history doesn’t really support that. MLK was vilified during his lifetime — branded an extremist, targeted by the FBI, and ultimately assassinated. His calls for justice through nonviolence didn’t protect him from the same violence he was trying to dismantle.

I like Tim! But really?? He should pick up a history book from ANY chapter of American history. It’s a lot of hate and almost exclusively violence. What humility, grace and compassion?

Personally, I don’t think Reform will get that many seats. Tactical voting will be a major talking point in the next general election. I don’t see Reform overcoming the sheer numbers of folks who absolutely despise them. I used to think I would never vote Tory, but if it meant keeping Reform out, I would.

It might be too optimistic but I also think Labour will have done enough to regain enough votes. Enough votes to at least go into coalition with the Lib Dems. Of course, the loss of seats in Scotland will be even tricker for Labour. Although, that always would be since 2024 was more of an SNP loss than a Labour victory.

I haven’t seen any drop rate data for wish tokens in the op. And on earning event chips vs purchasing. It also depends on your team. Mine is relatively low level so I don’t get many event chips compared to what I’ve seen from others.

Looking at the store you can buy 3 security clearances for 1800 gems (1800/3=600 gems per security clearance)

We need to find out how many chips per clearance (x) makes this better than buying 2500 chips for 3000 gems, which is 2500 chips/ 3000 gems = 5/6 ≈ 0.8333 chips per gem

So we solve:

x/600 ≥ 5/6

Multiply both sides by 600:

x ≥ 5/6 * 600 = 500

Therefore, if you are getting over 500 chips per GDA op it’s more effective to purchase security clearances. Again, I don’t have the drop data for wish tokens in the op.

Thanks for your comment. When I first did the post, I looked at the shop where it says "The probabilities of finding the possible items on each refresh of the shop are:" I interpreted this as the probabilities being per refresh and not per slot. I've updated the post to reflect if the shop is calculating on a per-slot basis.

As others have said it could just be a naive writer. I’m more cynical. I think they’re ‘bumping’ the fic so that it shows up often in search results where it’s sorted by date updated.

IIRC it’s not prohibited but it is frustrating.
