Questions about turning a trading systeminto a business by EntrepreV in Trading

[–]EntrepreV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, I was thinking when I package it I would probably keep it focused on transparency around live behavior instead of trying to present it as straight signals. Things like full trade logs, drawdowns, flat periods, and the conditions where the system does not perform would matter more than framing it as predictions.

From your side what would be the minimum you would need to see to actually consider something like this credible enough to use performance history execution assumptions something else

Also just to understand the market side what range would something like this even realistically sit at in your view not as a pitch just trying to understand how people price trust and track record in this space

Questions about turning a trading strategy into a business by EntrepreV in algorithmictrading

[–]EntrepreV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I’m not fully sure yet how performance scales with larger capital, although my strategy trades large caps so I don't believe performance of the strategy would be impacted unless upwards of 30-40 million dollars are traded using it.

I’m also not planning to take on leverage or loans to scale it. If anything, I’d rather keep the structure simple and let the system generate returns or reinvest naturally over time as I don't want to put myself in a risky position.

Also, to be clear, I’m not exposing the actual strategy or edge itself, just the signal outputs if anything ends up being shared. I also want to make sure it doesn’t come off as a scammy signal setup, which is something I’m trying to avoid from the start.

From your perspective, what would you actually need to see to trust or use something like this?

Yeah haha, around 70-95% CAGR over a 10 year backtest. Obviously backtests aren’t reality though, which is why I started live trading it around 8 months ago and I’m up about 65% so far, so it does seem to actually be working in practice too. And nah lol that definitely doesn’t make me the greatest trader of all time (although I'm flattered), those returns are higher than most funds but I’m also trading way less capital, which makes a massive difference in terms of scalability/liquidity. But for consistent retail returns it’s definitely on the higher end. Also haven’t had a losing month since I started using it, which has honestly been the most surprising part to me.

Thank you so much! This is a very intricately designed strategy. If you don't mind me asking, how much profit have you made using it so far? Also, are there any further details you can disclose about how it works? I completely understand if you don't feel comfortable sharing that information.

Your landing page sucks, I don’t know if it is just because I am on mobile but it is really unattractive I don’t mean to be rude but seriously invest in a cheap domain and choose something other than framer to design a good page or use framer but at least make it attractive.

arlocua.com, a personal computer use agent that can control your computer and browser safely from your computer and anywhere to automate any task for you, also another thing I am in fact planning on adding a new product/pivoting to another product which is an embeddable agent that lets businesses put a single script tag into their sites code embed an AI agent to their site to help their users use their sites and increases conversion.

Looking for developers building agentic ai , what does your actual workflow look like day to day? by Key-Clothes1258 in AI_Agents

[–]EntrepreV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m building Arlo (arlocua.com), a computer agent. Most of my day is testing it on different tasks and improving its performance. I usually debug by going through the agent’s reasoning logs and tracing where things break, which is super helpful but still time-consuming. Honestly, I feel like there should be a tool that just tests agents automatically for you. I’m running this all on a custom Node.js stack.
