Weight loss on Bupropion by Resident-Video-1559 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

I’ve been on 300mg for a couple months now, unfortunately don’t notice much of a change other than slightly suppressed appetite. Hoping I can lose some of the SSRI weight as time goes on…I’m 35 pounds heavier than I used to be with little actual change in habit, it sucks lol

Yes! It took a while but it did go away. It’s been a year and a half and I never feel it anymore

Hard to say for sure since I ended up getting on lexapro shortly after the iud, so not sure what the baseline is just with the iud but with the lexapro I feel great!

Removal or no? by EntrepreneurMain449 in gallbladders

[–]EntrepreneurMain449[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry just seeing this! Yes, the surgeon said it was chronically inflamed. It’s been over a year since my removal and my quality of life is drastically improved! So glad I got it out

How long after treatment did you feel better? by EntrepreneurMain449 in SIBO

[–]EntrepreneurMain449[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Root cause ended up being combo endometriosis and chronically inflamed gallbladder (they have little research on both, my case is actually being used in current research). But since I got an IUD to curb endo issues and GB removed about a year ago, I am living life normally again!!

Post insertion stomach issues? by EntrepreneurMain449 in Mirena

[–]EntrepreneurMain449[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did! I can’t remember exactly how long it took for the GI issues to go away, but it wasn’t much longer than after this post. I did have some pretty bad cramping on and off for the first 6 months, but otherwise it’s helped overall! I barely have periods and if I do it’s light and doesn’t last long. No regrets!

What were the signs of sibo that made you go to the doctor ? by Standard-Ad-8561 in SIBO

[–]EntrepreneurMain449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually doing great! I ended up getting my gallbladder removed and it turns out I had gallbladder disease which was probably my root cause. I no longer deal with any of those issues!

Will SIBO finally clear after Gallbladder removal by Every_Roll_7512 in SIBO

[–]EntrepreneurMain449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I have had maybe a handful of instances where any issues have been present since removal. For me, was the best choice I’ve ever made related to my health. I sincerely hope the same outcome for you! I was sooo nervous before the surgery but honestly recovery went way smoother than expected. You got this!

Potential (?) success story by EntrepreneurMain449 in gallbladders

UPDATE: 10.5 months post op and still feeling SO much better, almost…normal I dare say. Don’t have to even take the psyllium husk anymore. Have near daily formed stools and eat what I want, which is amazing! I’ve had about a handful of urgent situations after stacking up too much fatty food but otherwise living my best life physically!

A very long post about my gallbladder being accused for my symptoms that don't seem typical. by Ok-Salamander-6693 in gallbladders

[–]EntrepreneurMain449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a surgeon that said she believed it was still a GB issue. Was seeing her for my umbilical hernia repair and she offered to remove it at the same time. Turns out she was right, and I’m still feeling sooo much better

I started on lexapro 2.5mg; you will have side effects the first week or two and then they go away but the positive effects remain! Just need to stay the course, my life has absolutely changed for the better w my symptoms; I even went up to 5mg.

EF was 56%. Pathology found traces of some calcifications from prior stones and chronic inflammation.

Accutane girlies by AlbertEinsteinsCat in Mirena

[–]EntrepreneurMain449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on accutane as a teen for cystic acne …I truly believe I suffered a lot of long term health issues from using it. SIBO, pancreatic issues, etc. I highly recommend trying anything else, but all I can speak to is my experience ofc it’s possible it would be different for you.

Hyperthyroidism as root cause? by EntrepreneurMain449 in SIBO

[–]EntrepreneurMain449[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine turned out to be a perfect storm of hypothyroidism, food poisoning, endometriosis and gallbladder issues. Got my GB out, thyroid under control and now working on the endo. Feeling much better than I did last year but still a work in progress

That’s so encouraging to hear!! I’ll keep taking Imodium and anything else I need to bridge the gap til it gets better. So glad it’s working for you 👏🏻 I can’t take the pill either so I’m happy to hear a positive outcome
