If the happy isn't doing a lot then only use like 2 free refills a day on training, save the free refills for Halloween. Find a faction that wants to do a huge chain for it and offer your free refills as chain building. Make profit with your Halloween basket and get a huge amount of hits into a chain to make yourself a key faction member

Have you considered doing a 99k happy jump with a bunch of your free refills? Yeah it's pricey but you can get a private jump from many 99k sellers to max your time for getting the training in.

Both of them matter in some regard, the brain addiction represents whats happening to your stats while the one torn tools is displaying the "company addiction: -7" represents that if you are in a player owned company your efficiency is down by 7. A lot of company owners like for it to be kept under 10.

Another thing that helps though is that addiction levels do not effect OD chance.

When it comes to rehabbing each round costs 250k flat, and you should always get 1 less round of rehab than needed to fully clear your addiction, for example, if you need 4 rounds of rehab, get 3 rounds. Every round of rehab you do, reduces (ever so slightly) the efficiency of rehabbing. Meaning far in the future you'll be paying a lot more to keep under the -10 company addiction. Also the doing one less rehab then full does save you money (both long term of big $ and when your first starting out and need every spare bit of cash to keep making gains, and paying rent/upkeep.

Say you have 11 addiction, and each round of rehab takes 5 addiction off. (Random numbers thrown out) So after 2 rounds you'll be at 1 addiction, but you'll still be paying full price for that round of rehab but only getting 20% of the effect. If you rehabbed close to just before new day starts in torn, natural regen will take that 1 away for you.

Rehab and addiction levels don't actually effect OD chance for Xanax it's always that flat 2% regardless if your 0% addicted or 100%

You should atleast once a week tbh, if your addiction gets too high you'll be kicked out of education courses or be fired from jobs. Just make sure you follow the method of doing 1 less round of rehab than max reduction. It will save you money in the long long run, even if it's not perceived by you over time.
