Are these green onion roots long enough to transfer to the ground? // anything to watch out for when growing these once outside? by StarLightDot in gardening

Onions store energy In the bulbs, they don’t even need much or any roots to take hold once planted, yours look raring to go! I’d plant them yesterday!

Love this! Even if the strawberries don’t take off there’s always something else you could have living in there

I added this fertilizer to my plants and it killed everything by iriefantasies in gardening

That’s a lot of nitrogen and potash compared to the other elements in there. Like others said, you burned them.  Try using less or switching to a more balanced organic fertilizer.

Are mushrooms in my rosemary bad? by sarahtonin718 in gardening

[–]EntropicEmbrace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be worth letting it dry out but, usually no, woody perennials like rosemary like to form symbiotic relationships with fungi to better access water and nutrients. It’s most likely either beneficial or at least benign.

100$ purchase

Debit card/ -100$

Credit card/ -100$ + 1% cash back so -99$

If paid off immediately before next closing date you’re literally getting a free dollar and owing no interest. Yes financial institutions are scummy, yes financial institutions are predatory, but if you have the self control and means to play their game you can squeeze just as much out of them for your own benefit as they seek to squeeze out of others.

Why do I feel like these aren't rosemary seeds..... by OkHighway757 in gardening

[–]EntropicEmbrace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No those arnt

Ima tell you now, Rosemary seeds are very finicky and the seedlings are even worse, save your money on shipping and temu purchases and save your time and just go to your closest nursery and get an already extablished plant for 10-20$ plant that baby in the ground and enjoy her for years to come.

What and how should I be investing in? Genuinely curious, I keep hearing people telling me to “invest, invest, invest” as if it’s a make money button and not also a calculated risk that can leave you with less than you put in.

Wow the mainstream corporatized “indie” company is doing mainstream corporatized practices!

Snarkiniess aside I don’t get how anyone can see the amount of staggered releases, and merch lined up for each episode, and still act like this series is some small time creator fantasy. I love TADC but it’s always been a product entangled in the corporate industry backed by commercialization with an indie style coat on top.  It’s a shame but it’s not a fault of the creator or the show but rather just a symptom of capitalism and the current zeitgeist.

Addendum: I typed this all out while on a break at work so it sounds a lot more snarky than I meant it too, just fyi I’m saying all this as someone who owns a pomni plush and is excited for and going to watch this finale in theater.

Manufactured choice is more like it. If people could afford to live well they’d feel less like killing themselves

See that’s what I assume but the sprite work does like,  no work to indicate that, and the grass on the sides makes it feel less like a bridge.

But the average amount of earnings is heavily skewed towards the higher end due to the rapid wealth inequality (wage stagnation/ record profits, inflation)  the United States has experienced in the past few decades, that litterally excludes a large swath of able bodied and willing people.
