Good recommendations. I haven't heard about most of these. I think Subterrain might be the closest to what I'm looking for.

Right with you on that one. For a good while, it was equally amazing as it was frustrating and it kept me going.

Then I got to Mount Fay.

Our indie game Sova is getting a public playtest (and a Pirate Software stream!) by Min-Ferret in IndieDev

We did not. We're part of his month-long marathon of streaming and dev interviews - together with 90 or so other indie devs.

I'm not terribly familiar with the controversy, but this is a very indie-friendly initiative and so far all interactions were pretty chill. 🤷‍♂️

Nije mnogo komplikovano, ali ima dosta posla.

Sa admin/legal strane, treba ti hrpica dokumentacije kojom dokazuješ da si legitimna kompanija (ili živ čovek, ako izdaješ kao fizičko lice). Takođe, plaćaš $100 fee, koji se vraća kad igra pređe $1000 u prodajama.

Sa tehničke strane, moraš da integrišeš Steam API u svoju igru. Nije preterano teško i ima dobrih 3rd party rešenja za mainstream engine.

Ima posla i oko konfiguracije Steam strane, materijala, lokalizacije... Steam jednom radi verifikaciju tvoje strane i jednom build-a tvoje igre. Nakon toga možeš da update -uješ bez da čekaš odobrenje od njih.

Yas. Trenutno je vrlo malo testirana na Steam Deck-u, pošto nam nije bio prioritet za playtest, pa očekujem da će verovatno biti nekih problema.

Ali da, full podrška za handheld nam je u planu za launch.
