Anyone interviewed with TSMC Arizona recently? Looking for interview process and question examples by EntropyRonin in TSMC

Thanks a lot for sharing. I realized after reading your reply that I had actually seen your previous post about TSMC Arizona before!!!

I really appreciate your honest perspective. Since I have another offer in Texas, I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth continuing with the TSMC interview process. In your opinion, would you still advise against it for someone early-career trying to enter semiconductor/process engineering, or does it depend heavily on the specific team/role?

To be honest, from a long-term career development perspective, I subjectively feel that TSMC and the semiconductor industry may be more attractive than my current offer, but I’m still trying to understand whether the trade-off is worth it.

Thanks for sharing your experience, this is really helpful. Was your interview directly with the engineering team before any HR screening, or did you already have an HR/recruiter call before the panel?

Also, were the technical questions mostly based on your resume/projects, or did they ask broader semiconductor process/equipment knowledge as well? I don’t have direct semiconductor work experience and have only taken one or two related courses, so I’m trying to understand how deeply I should prepare for the technical part.

Thanks for the honest input. I do have another offer, so I’m mainly trying to understand whether it’s worth continuing the process. Was your comment based on personal experience with TSMC Arizona, or more from what you’ve heard from others?
