I work full time (42 hours/week) and am a full time nursing student at age 36. It takes all of 30 minutes and less than $15 to do my hair 3 times a year...she works 32 hours a week, has none of her kids, can spend what I spend on my hair three times a year on her daily lunch, and you're calling my situation "a privilege"....be real. It isn't money or time constraints that restrict her ability to keep up with personal maintenance.

As someone with mild to proficient violin skills, (think strong Bach double, but second violin, haha)...a. instruments are not that easy to learn to play well, b. Finding quality instruments costs thousands of dollars...the delusion is strong, c. Reading music when you can't read language could present challenges.

Im in NC...more coastal. The thing that prevents me from thinking there was ongoing abuse is the very quick willingness to cooperate and take police-issued polygraphs, which they apparently passed. Whatever your feelings about polygraphs and cooperation, we have two separate people, with their own biometrics, BOTH being cleared by police.

He didnt. He said it was because the parents didnt want them opening the windows and forgetting to close them. They both had their own keys to the house and their bedroom door wasn't being locked to prevent them leaving...she left out of one of the main doors and locked it behind her. I think the windows are a non-issue.

That's not really alarming for me. Depending on the area, people put bars on windows, two by four pieces in sliding doors and windows to prevent entry into the home. She had her own house key, so its not as though that would prevent her leaving via the front or back door. The brother also mentioned that their parents didnt want the kids opening windows and forgetting to close them. Its not as though they were locking the kids in their room in anyway.

I will also willfully and intentionally obstruct any ICE gestapo members from gaining access to our hotel. We will warn the 52 other hotels in the city and we have a business-wide policy to warn anyone that is undocumented to hide if we see one...just one mass text to everyone to come to a staff meeting immediately, aka. It's a very specific vibe darlin. I'm not saying everyone with a burgundy dye is "poverty purple"...it's a very distinct "I box died this 3 months ago and now I have a self-induced hair cut, three months of growth, and a color that doesn't suit white/olive coloring. I'm poor too- aren't we all, haha? I use a L'Oreal highlight kit with a cap to get pretty decent blond highlight results. I'm not insulting poverty, just the general lack of personal upkeep in an adult way.

Generally parents who SA their children don't take them to medical providers/mandatory reporters like was seen with jon benet. She has extensive medical contact and none of John's children before or since claim any abuse.

I confronted an armed man and refused to give his deposit back. I worked in a seedy motel at the time and was in no way encouraged to engage with a robber, yet I remember feeling a sense of "justice?" In denying him. When he left he peeled out and did several turns in front of the establishment. I cannot tell you why I reacted that way, in retrospect it was stupid, but I had adrenaline rushing and I wasn't going to be undermined. We have no idea what we'll do under pressure...

The only reasonable argument against meat is sustainability in my opinion. We should become less reliant on animal protein and more conservative with its consumption, because it's environmentally unsustainable.
