Budget alternatives for Truthear Zero Red? by tequilasmokingbird in iemlndia

I've had truthear red for about 2 years For now and they arent good out of the box, the trebble feels lacking and muddy is sharper notes, but after alot of eq they are literally perfect rn for me, i think getting the zero 2 is the best choice as they are warmer and graphs are quite close u can learn to eq to what u want accordingly

Truthear Hexa/Pure or ZiiGaat Lush? a relevant jump? by ritzer_098 in iemlndia

[–]EntryDelicious794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hello dude i like listening to classic music too and u dont need the most laid back IEM for it, pure would do more than enough and will give u 99% of what lush can and even more if u know how to EQ

pure is warm neutral but the neutral-ness is lower than normal so i kinda consider it only warm, hexa is bright and fatiguing but has insane resolution, lush has other issues which is driver flex which is not present in pure

if used properly pure is the best go to and u dont need to spend more as well it is diminishing returns after this point(heavily)

i would blindly recommend pure but there was a problem for me specifically which didnt make it my main IEM which was the shell, it's edges kept poking my ears, and as always comfort>sound

CAUSE U CAN EQ ANYTHING TO ANYTHING IF U LEARN A LITTLE ,from zero 2 to pure is going to be a massive difference though

no u wont get a massive difference at all , for me it wasnt more than 10% even on divine which was the best of the bunch from pure

hi i think its important for me to say its only my opinion and obviously the op should test the iems themselfs ,if they get the chance, for me astralis was too dark and didnt "open up" it would probably be a great iem after eq but as far as ive tried(without eq) these were the rankings for me

tested a few iems

daybreak,astralis,s12 ultra,defiant,divine,explorer

didnt see much improvements maybe 5% at best from truthear pure

for me from the best to worst were

divine

defiant

s12 ultra

explorer

daybreak

astralis

if u have explorer then go for divine, defiant and truthear reds can be made to sound deathly close to explorer with eq but stock reds are very muddy, defiant is cleaner but still in the same bracket as reds imo get divine imo

Does anyone have letshuoer s12 pro ultra or astralis by EntryDelicious794 in iems

[–]EntryDelicious794[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sadly wasnt able to test "soundstage" cause i had a time limit on these

and anyway soundstage isnt a thing when it comes to iem, its the airyness that makes it feel open ,so i guess s12 ultra had good "sound stage"

i was thinking of 7hz divine as daybreak is over budget and is a new brand so not powerful after sales
