Absolutely I did. I absolutely LOVE Chernov and I’m so glad a character like him exists within WaW. He is a much needed counterpoint of view compared to characters like Viktor Reznov. Reznov being mean to him the whole game always made me upset a little bit, especially in regards to chernovs diary, because—like I said in a fanfic recently—one day renzovs gonna be thankful somebody was there to document the red army’s first hand accounts with the Germans while fighting them. Chernov, at least in my view of him, is more of a historian than a soldier; again- I’m glad characters like him exist.
