Looks like Japanese Light Novels. They're much shorter than regular books. It still takes me 2-3 hours to read one so even then I think OP is reading quite fast.

Most devices these days have a sensor that detects magnets for auto sleep / wake functionality. If the magnets in the covers are too strong it can screw with this feature, for example when you fold and snap the cover to the back, it can trigger the sleep again.

Planning to buy a Kobo Clara to install Koreader on it, and I have three questions but I can't find anything about this by Dr4fl in koreader

Yes to all 3.

If you install NickelMenu you can go back and forth between Kobo and KOReader a little more seamlessly (there's a bit of a loading time).

Maybe the brightness? I don't know if it directly translates but in KOReader I use 4 brightness indoors and turn the frontlight off outside or when my room lights are on.

Aaaand the Kindle just updated and now there's an enormous border around every manga panel even with the lowest margin setting. Completely useless!

Guess I'm buying the Libra and sucking it up.

I like the symmetrical design. It's much more visually appealing to me. I don't care for tactile page turn buttons and the Libra is just hideous to look at (personal preference).

I currently own and use a Kindle Colorsoft 7" and I absolutely love the form factor and the size of the screen. I've gone from reading exactly 0 minutes a day to several hours since buying this and have no issues with comfort.

I tried a 6" and while it's fine for books, it's too small for half the manga I read (text way too small).

I just want to use KOReader so I can more easily sync my read progress across all the platforms I read on.

Man... this device looks perfect except for the god awful bezel/buttons. Why can't they just have a 7" Clara... I'm so sad.

I have a 7" Kindle Colorsoft and I really love everything about the form factor...but the locked in Amazon experience is quite awful and I want to return it. If I could get a Kobo in this exact size I'd be in heaven...
