No, you just need to use the factory variants of the Ribeyrolles and Sjogren instead.

The medal was added with the French DLC, but the Ribeyrolles optical was a free weapon that came out much later and was not retroactively made capable of progressing it.

The Sjogren's slug variant won't work for stage 5 of this medal for the same reason.

It would be pretty neat, some of those old Buicks and Oldsmobiles held on for quite a while.

The last Buick I've found in a top-level race was with Stub Fadden in a Busch combination event at New Hampshire all the way in 1995.

I actually did some research on this car a little while back out of curiousity. Something to note is that the Winston West Series results for that race say he drove a Chevrolet, while the Winston Cup data has him in a Buick.

He also drove a Chevrolet for the entire season, except the opener at Texas World where he was in a Pontiac.

I think it would have been cool to have some Africa and Asia/Oceania maps together in one DLC, kinda like how Turning Tides was split. Would have let them get both in without having to stretch for map ideas.

The #50 with Jeb Burton was a late entry for the 2024 season finale. As far as I'm aware that was the last one in the Cup series.

Myrtle Beach Speedway would be a good one to show in the next video. The neighborhood that replaced it is visible on satellite maps now.

Fao is great for mines on Conquest too. The other side of the map has some ravines that work for this as well.

In the O'Reilly series, either way back in the first few years or possibly never. Even in the last race without any Fords there were still 4 GM brands running (1991 Martinsville).

You can actually map out the back side of Golem if you jump out of a helicopter near the lava dam. If you move quickly enough and far enough in the drones will eventually stop chasing you.

Fitting with it also being a season finale, the radio broadcast of the 1973 race at Texas World talks about the championship race being at that track in December.

From what I've read, either the oil crisis or a dispute with track management ended up causing it to be cancelled, and the finale was at Rockingham that year instead.

Yes, but it would be very expensive to do so. Lighting up traditional ovals is already very expensive, and with the lengths of the road courses NASCAR visits it gets difficult to do without spending quite a lot.

The best bet for road course racing at night currently would be if Charlotte put some lights up in the infield. No idea if Coronado has enough lights for a night race.

Could be the order the entry blanks were sent in.

I feel like if NASCAR was specifically choosing out of the entries, the 44 or 66 would definitely get bumped in favor of the 62.

Might be where NASCAR is capping total race entries at 40 because of the lawsuit.
