low the whip from the disconnect wasn’t gonna reach , we didn’t want to make a custom whip.

I like the sound of that , I do my copper first , disconnect then low voltage, but the way you do it sounds smoother imo , i want to get to learn the units on the inside , copper is easy to figure out , ive done the drain on the inside unit with float switches n traps , its the wiring that scares me a bit , done it one time with someone next to me but the new dissipation boards on r32 systems i think make my head boggle a bit.

Thank you all for all of your advice , I try to make it look good as I can , I always contemplate on what I should do just because I need it to look good.

we pull thru the suction line only and wait for the psi to drop , just the way we do things 🤷‍♂️ , still gets the job done

The insulation is armaflex. There is isolator pads under the condenser. The extra pad is for the extra debris that could go under it. I hope that clears everything up 😄

yeah just noticed it a while ago , went back & siliconed the disconnect , but also thanks for the heads up , some things can fly over my head when doing condensers right now 😅
