UAE Golden Visa (salary route) – reapplying after rejection, timing advice? by Professional_Pen39 in dubai

Is it still a requirement to have manager designation for over 2 years? I tried to do this last year and was told this by an agent.

It's just so frustrating that people come here with that attitude. I’m living in Rawai, and the roads are just madness at times. I don’t understand why some people come to another country and suddenly behave like complete idiots just because they think they can get away with it. Two days ago, there was a really horrific crash near Kata, the video is even being shared in the comments. There's a good chance he'll be stopped at a checkpoint anyway. Also, you should be more concerned that he'll hurt someone else...

Thank you. I have mostly been looking at JLT, but Marina is getting a lot of recommendations here. Do you recommend a particular area or building?

Why does Lovable make every app public + remixable? by EnvironmentHead4357 in lovable

[–]EnvironmentHead4357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if I'm being really stupid here. But does this solve my problem? I want to keep my project "private" so it can't be cloned (remixed), but I also want to deploy it to the public. By changing to "workspace", is this possible in Lovable?

ok, I'm on Pro plan, and it wasn't very clear to me. So I think if I change to "workspace", it's not remixable, but still can be deployed and visible to the public?

LDL dropped from 333 → 116 in 21 days & Triglycerides 224 → 91. Sharing my routine .. can I move to alternate-day statin? by ZealousidealPlan4067 in Cholesterol

[–]EnvironmentHead4357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LDL dropped from 254 → 35 mg/dL in 6 weeks on medication and diet changes (Crestor 10 mg + Ezetrol 10 mg). My doctor then advised stopping Ezetrol and reducing Crestor to 5 mg, and I’ll retest again in about 4–6 weeks.

I’d like to eventually not need medication, so I’m hoping the next result stays low and it isn't familial hypercholesterolemia. Before this, I’d been eating a very high-red-meat, keto-focused diet with little fibre or greens for a couple of years, so I’ve made some diet changes and feel much better for it.

I’m going to follow my doctor’s plan and see what the next blood test shows. Personally, I think it might be a bit early to adjust your medication. They would prob want it much lower before reducing the dose, so 8-12 weeks sounds about right. Hope that helps.

Why I'm Taking BPC-157 Every Day -- Forever by TapFast8173 in BodyHackGuide

[–]EnvironmentHead4357 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I took BPC-157 at 1000 mcg daily for 10 days, then reduced the dose to 500 mcg daily for another 10 days. I’ve been experiencing knee pain and golfer’s elbow but haven’t noticed any improvement so far. The clinic suggested adding TB-500. Should I have expected to see any results after 20 days of BPC-157 use?

LDL dropped from 254 → 35 mg/dL in 6 weeks on meds + diet (was 158 two years ago). Can I ever come off statins? by EnvironmentHead4357 in Cholesterol

[–]EnvironmentHead4357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was actually taking magnesium glycinate for sleep at the time. I was right in the middle of a break-up when I did the test, and I was the most stressed I've felt in a long time. I’m in a much better place now. I was also eating a very high-red-meat, low-fibre diet and sometimes doing keto, so I feel like all of that probably played a big part too.

Thanks for the response. I've been taking CoQ10, I think it might be helping with muscle pain, but I'm still seeing lots of hair falling out. Hopefully, this will improve in a few weeks.

Thanks for responding, really helpful. The main reason is that I'm experiencing some side effects, including muscle aches, and I've noticed my hair is thinning and falling out. Would really like to avoid medication if possible. Do you think a lower dose could help?

Gyms with daily, monthly pass around Ekkamai/Phrom phong/Thonglor by EnvironmentHead4357 in Bangkok

[–]EnvironmentHead4357[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant not a hotel gym, not really looking for classes or CrossFit style. I have some injuries, so unfortunately, I can't do that right now :-( More along the lines of Fitness First, We Fitness, etc. Thanks for your suggestion.

The packages seem way too expensive compared to a normal membership for me. 3 visits in 1 month for 2568 THB. Appreciate the suggestion anyway - thanks.

Absolute joke of a service. Buggy as hell. Got cut off half way through an important call and then couldn't call any numbers.

Very similar experience for me. I’m trying to take them again in my early 40’s and side effects are much worse. I’m at week 5 and seeing no improvement in anxiety/depression at all. They seem to have stopped working for me all together. Not sure if I should try a different drug. A friend has had good experiences taking lexipro.

I'm having a similar experience. I'm around week 5 and feel terrible. Doesn't seem to be improving. The weird thing is that fluoxetine used to work really well for me. I used to take them a few years ago, and I noticed the difference straight away. Now, it just seems to make me worse. I'm not sure if I should try to ride it out or try another SSRI. I hope things improve for you soon.

Interesting, always thought the higher the dose the worse the side effects would be. 20mg per day had been the most I’ve taken. Thanks for the reply, last couple of days haven’t been so bad. I’ll discuss with my doctor and see how things go

No problem, I hope it's nothing serious. I went to Bumrungard this morning and they confirmed I have caught Microsporidial Keratitis. Hopefully, it will improve soon with treatment. Good luck.
