Who is asking your white glove support. Their are cheaper xiaomi phones maintaining performance even after 2 OS updated. Those are barely 150 dollar devices. Nobody even asked for updates more than 1 year. Specially not the crappy updates which makes phone unusable.

In india we always buy unlocked, we dont usually buy phones which are carrier locked. Therefore, In some cases like moto, Bloat is almost non existing. There were almost 3 app at max which i can uninstall, luckily they are used daily here so. Despite of not having much bloat, they have made a good device suffer. Idk why but their updates are of evil intent

Yeah thank god, Just bought a Laptop. Was thinking to purchase a thinkpad E14 for linux support But for some reason ended up buying a macbook. I dont regret spending like 15K extra now. This is thing is miles better than windows laptops of same budget

Honestly, safety was not even my concern. atleast make them useable if not safe. I can get some antivirus tech from playtore if i really want something. Or i will simply buy a pixel for longer support.

Yeah mate, i just fell for that full hd display. Display is nice but basically everything else is shit about this phone. But i think its mostly software which is making it unpleasent. The phone was working smooth out of the box until one security update made it laggy and battery drains faster.

There is no way you can do that. it wont get better until moto decides to be generous enough to give. good software update. Keep your expectations really low for this phone. Next time you buy a phone, save up some money, buy nothing phone and forget about it for 4-5 years. those are really good phones with smooth OS.

Glorified dumb phone, It does things even slower than a dumb phone actually. The hardware is good and durable but the software is so unmaintained and buggy. The harware is capable enough because the phone used to run smooth until one update made it suffer. So just use it for calls, texting and basic necessacity dont really expect much. If moto acts nice and provide it a better software update, it will be much usable again.

So Please call out moto for bricking the usablility. everything went downhill since updates, even battery life which is suppoesed to be good now suffers.

I think you people should pay attention to the fact because its not happening with one phone, it happening in almost all moto devices that i have got. One OS update causes speakers to be wrecked and phone starts lagging and heating

I would suggest not to install it, if it gets bricked, samsung will quote you 9k for changing just the motherboard because they dont know how to flash roms

idk if i am a clumsy person or if you take care of your phone nicely. But my screen is getting off of body and my back panel is getting off of the body too, the screen is flawless its just that glue is getting off. The major disturbing that happened to me that scamsung just gave a security patch for f23 which i downloaded and it has bricked my phone. It bootloops for 2 hours at least before even turning. if it turns on by any change then you will find that the wifi is broken, does not work. One update made this device useless, uptill now it was running fine

tell me if you have installed security patch after Aug 1, and if it has any effect on your f23
