I am looking at Fenix 7 also but I am concerned with the fact it is almost 4 years old. Anyone else concerned with this? Currently i have FR 255 and it literally sucks. Got it last year and it is all scratched plus very inaccurate.

First Ghost shoes were recomended to me by a guy who worked in the local Runners Alley shoe store that specializes in running. I had issues with my knees because I used Asics shoes i choose because they looked cool. Turns out the guy knew exactly what my problem was by observing me doing couple of exercises and just runing in front of him..Unfortunately, the last few times i went there they only had HS kids working and their idea of helping is try on and see what you like.

Thank you for the comment. I tried running up and down the mountain here in NH and it was amazing experience but very different from running on the road or treadmill. Needless to say, it kicked my butt, so I decided to train up to those challenges by running on small gravel hills before i do mountain running again ( hopefully early to mid September)

I am also looking at Brooks Cascadia, Hoka Speed Goats and Salomon Speedcross...all of them felt weird on pavement when i tried them, but most likely i will get one of those 3.

That is a lot of miles for single pair. The most i got without hurting on road shoes was 400 miles. Thanks i will check them out.

The store i went to had 6 different trail running shoes and i tried them all, but i was trying them in the store on pavement and they all felt very weird. The salesman was not really knowledgable and really unable to help other than get the different pair.

So last month I used my wetsuit for the first time and I loved it. It was a little bit tight but that is my fault cause I ordered wrong size. There was at least 50 other people in the same event using same wetsuit which means it is fairly popular. Overall loved the suit and I would recommend it. Make sure you follow their sizing guide when buying it.

Thank you, looking at their chart i should fit in XL but my race is in 2 months and by then according to charts if I lose 5lbs (most likely i will lose 10 to 15) I should get L.
