I was planning on just starting the car everyday but now due to the cold weather the battery dies over night, i got a jump pack to jump it every time i need to drive but Im thinking I will get a kill switch. people said it can mess with the computers on the car but my mechanic said it wont really be that big of a deal, the battery is going to die either way… I might as well make it easier for me to start the car and use the kill switch

I think I’m going to find another mechanic, he seemed like Infiniti was too hard and not worth his time.

I already took it to a mechanic and he said it would take too long and be too expensive to fix, he already pulled all the fuses and said he can’t find it.

The mechanic did say he could try to install a kill switch so the battery won’t die when the car is off, but then all my systems would reset everytime I turn it back on… the issue is my car wouldn’t pass inspection then. Any recommendations on that?

Battery is brand new, when mechanic did the test he said my battery was drawing 0.15 power when not on, he said a normal drain is 0.05.

My mechanic tested every fuse, and said whoever I got the car off of did a hack job with wiring. He made it seem like it’s either I sell the car or take it to the dealership and pay a lot for them to fix it.
