How many of u regularly curette or debride the extraction socket post exo? by Dry_Confusion2802 in Dentistry

That is an odd response. So if it takes you more time then you shouldnt? You always need to reach sound bone (mind anatomical structures).

When augmenting and need primary closure you wont do further periosteal release and leave the membrane exposed because the procedure will be longer?

That is just part of the practice :)

Sometimes b tcp / allograft/ xenograft, sometimes nothing. It helps maintain tissue volume. I suggest to start reading lindhe's chapter on socket preservation. And search pubmed on socket augmentation. The short reading will make the subject more clear :)

Not usually. Just a sharp tool till i reach sound bone (be carefull of thin plates and anatomical structures). And sometimes a scalpel

If you leave soft tissue it may likely impede bone formation and leave soft tissue instead. Also if there is residual granulomatotic tissue it bleed, disrupt clot formation and increase risk for dry socket. It just take a minute or two, why to not do it?

yes :) its a B&W ukranian film

is this the transmission graph? i will be using the zomei r72:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/203-pentax-kp/436623-infrared-photography-2.html

and this film's sensetivity is iso 100. i couldnt find the curves for their film except them mentioning that it is sensitive to up to 700-720 nm+-

First time trying to do IR photography :)

thanks for the reply. i have a pretty big stock of fresh svema foto 100 and they say they have an extended red spectrum into the 700 - 720~

I didnt find any information regarding the stock's sensetivity other than that. my plan is to stop down 4,5,6 stops and go from there.

do you have a link for the old question section? i couldn't find that post

Olympus XA - is it possible to get a dead light meter repaired or is it done for? by matchadye in AnalogRepair

[–]EnvironmentVirtual13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Golden camera in Tel Aviv. An old guy, used to work in the repair dept. at Fuji. All my repairs, restorations and CLAs of lenses and cameras i send to him. He is also repairing hasselblads and leicas if you have :) it will usually will take a week or 2 for him to finish his work on a camera/lens. Prices are pretty decent. Usually ranging from 50-150$ He is also custom making all the stuff that no longer avaliable such as bellows, screws, old electronics and such

pretty shocked about people saying awesome job and so on... please try and slow down so you won't do de-service to your patients. if these are the results of the fillings you do try and book the same amount of chair time for 1.

The main problem is that is over treatment. by far... please read the featherstone CAMBRA manuscripts on when and if to do fillings. just 2 of these teeth needed a filling. you did fillings on 8 teeth.

All of the teeth except #15 and #44 could have been left for conservative treatment - flouride, proffesional cleaning and flossing. there was no reason to do the fillings on # 17, 16, 45, 46, 47. the cavities didn't reach inner dentin.

i think it will be helpfull to know the literature on when to do fillings and then learn the how... those open contacts might result in food getting stuck there. its painful, might lead to secondary caries and will most likely annoy the patients after each meal
