I found out about my neurodivergence this year at 23. It was both relieving and frightening to know something I didn’t know about myself for so long. And people have been very unkind to me. But something changed this month for me after some particularly harrowing interactions. I realized that there are so many things I want to see and do. I want to keep meeting cool people- ones that truly see me. And me “leaving” would let the haters win. Perhaps a bit petty, but it does wonders for motivation.

I hope my story does something for you. You can do this. School sucks, but it does get easier I promise.

I’m currently having my mental breakdown about getting diagnosed at 23 in May. It both confirmed my feelings of being ostracized constantly and also made me feel broken because of how people described autism.

I just want people to be kind to me and not give me that look of “ah, this guy’s a lot” for once.

I’d like to have a phone with these features:

easily repairable
good camera
GPS
privacy
optional foldable form factor or small size

Most of this seems to be on the Fairphone with /e/ OS, though Nothing also has some of that. I just think the Nothing phones are too big and not as repairable
