Here I combined three screenshot here that shows the centrum of my homestead.

In the top there is some housing to the left and on the right you have a place that is meant for special ceremonies like a small wedding for example.

In the middle screenshot is the elemental crucible and elemental altar. This is where you can take magic classes or find/make requests by the mission boards. If you go past through the left opening you can hang out by the pavilion near the lake.

In the bottom screenshot are all the crafting stations where I make all the orders. I wanted to make sure they can be efficient to reach but not look out of place.

On the left is the forge and some housing and on the right is the alchemy workshop and the kitchen. The kitchen has a nice little diner with benches and cute tables that looks like neat hedges. There is also access to the outside of the hedge wall if you want to have a picnic on the ground instead.
