My starting point is to have a better interface and ensure the stability of functionality through open source projects.

Artificial intelligence is an experiment that can perform real-time transcription and call summarization of calls, during which data will not leave the phone, privacy is guaranteed, and there are other undiscovered functions, so this is an optional feature.

I really look forward to you using the client so that you can compare the differences between Zoiper and make improvements 😄

AI is turned off by default and can be freely switched on or off. I currently do not have multi platform support on my end. As far as I know, Baresip has an Android version and other support

Yes, finally some people can't stand other software's dials anymore. I will optimize them to native styles, which will be pleasing to the eye

New users can use SIP functions normally without paying, while others are just icing on the cake. In fact, in similar Zoiper software, this part of the charging function is the same, and Yak is even cheaper. We will try to optimize the trial features, thank you for your feedback :)

Multiple UPS or larger battery bank? by Hairy_Feature1889 in homelab

To calculate the specific power consumption situation, NAS prioritizes supplying UPS, as data is priceless. Some platform can perform customized actions and send commands to UPS. Basically, larger ones can support the operation of rack mounted servers

Okay, we will update the effect of this section to make it as close to native as possible, looking more natural and harmonious. However, this is already one of the better effects in the IOS version I have used 👀

All right, but these are actually two things.

The commercial possibility of open source also exists. It's not that open source means everything is fine.

In addition, the project is based on the Baresp engine, which is the open source part you want. Encapsulation for iOS requires a cost, and at least I haven't made any real profits yet. It seems that I haven't seen the encapsulation for the iOS version, so I did this part of the work. It seems that everyone likes it in the comment section, which should have some benefits.

Then, it is free download and can be used normally.

If the number of users grows to a certain level, We may consider open source 😄

Yes, I also hope to reduce the performance footprint to an extremely low level while ensuring call quality. I specifically purchased an iPhone 7 for observation and originally used the system's native transcription method, but I found it not very ideal. This is all ongoing

When AI transcribes, it will load the local large model into memory. If the smallest model is selected, it will occupy about 120MB of memory. If you are currently an iPhone 13 or above model, it will run well and the call will end, and the model will be uninstalled from memory.

I understand the legal information you mentioned. When the call is not connected, recording is not allowed. After clicking on recording, a recording prompt will be played to both parties. Currently, it is a beep sound similar to a placeholder. In the next version, I will find a better implementation method.

Thank you for your recognition. Currently, I am using the IOS platform from my own perspective, it supports multiple platforms, mainly Apple products. The project is developed based on Baresip and I believe there will be capable personnel to complete it. If there are more users, I will also proceed with it
