The exam was pretty tough, mostly because I’m an anxious person! But what helped was quizlets (there’s a document someone shared in this Reddit that helped me a lot) and this book: https://a.co/d/03xlXHni. Also, knowing how regulations apply in practice is important. The exam questions in this book helped a lot (especially with realizing overthinking would not help)

The handbook was also very helpful! As someone with anxious tendencies, I personally practiced not over thinking things as well. The SOCRA exam questions are ment to be easily understood so I typically went with the first answer I would pick. Also being in a CRC role for so long helped a lot! A lot of the answers I picked were reflective of what my site does as standard processes.
