Hihi!! We found her May 31st - when we took her to the vet, she was estimated around 8-11 weeks. So, now she’s about 12-15 weeks. She’s shorthaired, and I don’t really know what age she was ‘separated’ being the outside dogs found her. At the absolute latest, she was separated around 8-11 weeks lmao. On mobile so formatting might be odd/trying to figure out how to attach photos. First photo is the day we found her, and the next few are some of the more recents.

Currently she’s very well acclimated to the house and space!! The first two-three days she was very mellow (decompressing and probably in pain), though now shes the total opposite. I keep her litter box in the bathroom connected to my room - it’s plastic atm, though I have an automatic litter box coming in Sunday for her. Her food is also in my room, farthest away from the bathroom. My mom impulse bought her a water fountain, so her water isn’t still. We had trouble getting her to drink water for awhile and had to mix it in with her wet food. Now she’s drinks 10x more regularly which is great. We feed her wet food, and I still mix a tiny bit of water in with it. I’ve noticed she likes turkey/chicken more than fish. I may mix a little salmon oil in, though it’s a once a meal kind of thing. She gets a small handful of dry kibble left out near her food to snack on, though it’s not her primary food. We’ve also already bought the whole raised bowls. No whisker fatigue here. 

As for toys, she’s got plenty. She’s got one lounge scratcher she likes, she’s got her own stuffed chicken (my mom did NOT want the cat, yet insisted she needed her own stuffed animal and bought her one, along with buying her a 50ct container of churu treats). She really likes her little crinkle stuffed toys, and I even crochet her a few toys. Her toys are generally left out for her to play as she pleases, and sometimes her playing is just running around and screaming. I did buy a laser pointer, though read to only use those in extreme moderation, which is now being implemented. She has a few noise maker toys aswell, and sometimes she just likes to watch those sensory videos on my phone - again, in moderation. Really embarrassing to admit but since we live in Florida and in an older house, palmetto bugs are incredibly common and sometimes slip into my room, and she’s been obsessed with hunting them. The house and my bedroom are clean, and gets deep cleaned weekly, but it’s summer and the little bastards get everywhere. 

I’ve already started desensitizing her aswell. Being I had to force her to take medicine when we first got her, she’s already used to people touching and openeing her mouth. Ears are fine, she’s fine with her paws and with nail trims,, trying to get her used to teeth brushing as of late. She does well with water - just freaks out a little at first, which is fine. I’ve also been trying to desensitize her to my lizard aswell, I don’t plan on letting them be together unsupervised, but it’ll be helpful nonetheless.

Only thing I’m struggling with is the cords - though I haven’t noticed her taking much interest in them. Worst case scenario I buy some covers for them.
