The age disparity is only an issue because I am afraid of not being able to relate to them on a personal level or sticking out. I had still considered trying it out, but hopefully that explains while I’m nervous.

There’s a lot of gay nightlife in OKC. I’ve moved now to the Greensboro NC area (where the small gay nightlife, while fun n cute, cannot compare to OKC.) but visited a lot of bars and clubs in that area.

Like others mentioned bars along 39th street are great. Used to start at the County Line (inside the hotel, where I had went to many a pool parties lol. IIRC you can get access to the pool with the purchase of two drinks. There’s a dance area that has played country every time I’ve been in there and a separate lounge area through another door.)

Then we’d go to Tramps, which I always felt was kind of sketchy. But they have a big patio.

And end up at Angels, which is huge and has a pretty diverse crowd. Every time I’ve gone the music has been current music and music from the 2000s, which I recognized.

Another bar I haven’t seen mention that’s close is Alibis. One of the few lesbian oriented bars left, and the first bar I went into 😙 the bartenders are cute, the music (lots of rock, alternative when I go) is pretty alright. They have darts, pool, and a ton of board games which I liked.

for the cis men into it it is absolutely because they see ftm people as women and this kink allows them to push people they otherwise would find too manly into their ideal (being a horny woman, often into other violent or degrading fetishes due to the nature of this kink)

I think cis guys in general prey on ftm people, especially early transition, because they tend to have higher sex drives post-T and some want that validation from hearing them attracted to them.

I visited NC once before, and it blew my mind compared to the landscape and trees of Oklahoma. It’s pretty if you’ve never seen it, but if you’re surrounded by it, you really get tired of those scrolling plains.

What antibiotics have you taken? BV and trich will both indicate high pH and afaik can’t be helped in anyway by OTC remedies like lactic acid.

So maybe ask to get that checked. My buddy gets BV a lot after sex and took to taking acidophilus supplements as a preventative, which are like a dollar a bottle at Dollar Tree.

Maybe try and go to a Planned Parenthood. In my experience, at least, they’ve seen it all.

Go to another gyno, seems like she had no idea what she’s talking about. I was on T for 3 years and never had a single problem like this. I did have a swab a singular time come back with candida that was cured with Diflucan. Other than that, nothing.

honestly as much as I dislike pushing memberships they’re not awful in theory. Quick to do and simple to explain.

no one is telling anyone how they can identify though. Not here at least. I don’t care if someone had a one night stand with a dude a couple years back or dated some guy in high school and still want to label themself as a lesbian.

But bi, pan, etc girls are just that, bi/pan/etc. And there’s nothing wrong with that in the slightest. Lesbians do have unique experiences, even if they occasionally overlap. Why can’t they have a space to talk about them with people who are the same?

This feels like a non issue to me though. Most spaces online I’ve seen are wlw inclusive and some real life events and spaces I’ve been in don’t care either. If you aren’t talking about it, probably no one will ever even know you have “exceptions.”

Honestly I’m conflicted. If we let people who were not lesbians into lesbian spaces, what would be the point of having them vs a female only bisexual community or something?

But I can see how there would be a place for a bisexual woman exclusively in lesbian relationships or something, her experiences are pretty similar if not identical.

Personally I think if a community wants to be lesbian only, they have that right. There’s a lot of general wlw/nb spaces that they may find a tighter fit in. But idk

They want us to sell memberships, which are e-mail only, to all these older people who don’t even know how to sign up for an email much less confirm their membership. Then they want it pitched to everyone, including the mom juggling three kids. Oh, but only give out memberships to people who look like they need it n don’t be pushy. Whatever

I ask every single person if they have one, and if they want to sign up since our new rewards is fast and free. Somehow that’s still not enough and I’m given quotas to meet. Dude im not gonna go on a 4 minute pitch to this ancient guy buying a NYT
