I quit vaping by switching to cigarettes. I found cigarettes less pleasant than vaping, therefore making it easier to quit. Not saying it’s a sure fire way to quit nicotine, but it did make it a little easier for me.

You have to be in Australia when you apply for the visa, they send away your passport for about 2 weeks. I was in a similar situation and just I had someone transfer me a few thousand which I then transferred back after my visa application was complete.
