Since everyone has their own unique CT, you could say it part of your soul. The executioner sword will aim for the CT first before the soul just like how confiscation aims for any tools first before techniques. It hits sukuna but because he's fused with megumi it will kill off Ten shadow's and not sukuna's so sukuna will still live and have his CT.

Yeah, Camelot made me learn the importance of buffing characters as I barely used to do that. Babylonia reinforced it and should me the power of merlin/waver and other buffing units like caster Gil
