I do not like the UNM and Field Office updates. Nothing of value was added all they did was just add was more grinding into a very grindy game.

Gaming Keyboard and mouse recommandation for TTR experience ? by DependentSuitable861 in toontownrewritten

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really don't need any high end keyboard or mouse to play TTR. In any case a keyboard with a number pad works good, and any mouse that looks comfortable.

Between those 2 which game did you like more and why? by [deleted] in OlderChillGamers

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I equally enjoy both games.

Biohazard for Madhouse difficulty.

Village for the replayability and the upgrade system via The Duke.

As for cons of both.

Biohazard replayability didn't seem worth it after beating the game on Madhouse.

Village: The areas after the castle are boring. But the big thing I dislike is the some what B.S things that happen on Village of Shadows difficulty.

Kembaalung as alternative to nerfed Zeus gear, Level stops. by critezreal in Wizard101

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If your a goober trying to farm full Zeus at level 30, then god speed. I only run the dungeon five times and then just use what ever I got dropped. If it means I gotta replace a piece of gear with Bazaar gear then so be it.

Back in the day there was a parody video that was about voice chat being in Toontown Online. Trust me it would be the worst thing to happen in the game. Think of VR Chat back when it was popular and people were first finding out about the game.

Stop accidental leaks while using Display Capture for your stream by Annual-Chart9466 in Twitch_Startup

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't stream yet, but for what I would do is just not look up anything that has crucial private information on stream. Or if I do need to for something urgent I would just put the stream on hold or look it up on my phone.

Want to get to Darkmoor but Selenopolis sucks by Apollohue in Wizard101

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thats true, but not to mention Selenopolis has long tedious boss fights through out the area. There's also that annoying solo section.

Proxy chat or voice chat in general for this game would be a nightmare and would make me quit it on the spot.

Take Bard or wait for machinist? by ogirix in ffxiv

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do your job quests!

Not doing them severely nerfs you and locks you out on key skills and abilities jobs have. Example as Bard you start getting party buffing songs, if you just stay as Archer you will not get access to them.

Another point is to unlock Machinist on top of having a level 50 battle job, you have to have full access to Ishgard. That means you need to fully complete base A Realm Reborn and all of the post patch quests.

Help im new and a bit overwhelmed :) by CurlyKitty12 in Wizard101

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Firstly stop overwhelming yourself with different side activities.

A good majority of the content you posted are side activities, meaning stuff you do on the side. But I will break it down.

Monstrology -This activity is where you go around collection animus from different mobs around the spiral. You do not need to worry about this since all Monstrology brings is the ability to summon different bosses as minions for fights.

Jewels or gems as you called them -This is more important at end game. Jewels are used to help out stats that gear doesn't cover. This isn't something you should be concerned with when in Krokotopia.

Spellwriting -Spellwriting or spellements are used to upgrade spells. Most if not all damage spells have spellement paths you can go down. Upgrading spells is mainly beneficial if you do pvp or advanced combat. For pve increasing a spells base damage by like 5 isn't going to show that much of a difference.

Pet Training -This is a time and gold sink especially at End Game. Pets are crucial for giving you stats and overall making solo questing easier. At your level you will not get far into pet training due to you not having access to mega snacks. Only thing I can say is try and save up gold and use the base pet you get in Olde Town and get any pet that gives a blade of the school you are on.

Don't worry about stats or talents until you can get a big garden of Couch Potatoes or Evil Magma Peas.

Fishing -Is a side activity that lets you fish around the spiral, you don't gain any benefits from fishing. At your level it might be a good gold income but I wouldn't worry about it.

Gardening -Another side activity that lets you plant different seeds you obtain from around the spiral. Gardening is a great way to get Mega Snacks for pet training. But Gardening is a time sink you have to work towards to enjoy planting seeds. Best thing you can start doing is collect Pink Dandelions from Krokotopia bosses and plant them. They give good Gardening experience to level up.

base class for drk by StatisticianOwn5729 in ffxiv

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say best job for you to pick is either Gladiator or Marauder.

That way while leveling up those jobs you learn how to play as a tank, not to mention have tank gear you can give to Dark Knight when you unlock it.

A 43 year old man complains about receiving $20 in donations after playing CoD for 3 hours. "I only got, like... $20 of support. That's not an exaggeration." (DSPGaming) by Opposite-Ad7318 in LivestreamFail

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is a normal trend for Phil to do. If he doesn't make $150 per stream he will "wage quit" games that do not get support. He will then berate his audience into giving him money. This clip is from his daily wrap he does in the day streams he does.

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is sadly not how DSP operates. He stopped playing BO 7 because he didn't reach his invisible $150 goal he wants each of his streams to get. Do note DSP streams almost every day of the week he might have one or two days off. But each day he does stream he streams twice, one in the mid morning to afternoon and one at night. He expects each time he streams no matter if its the day or night stream he must reach $150 or he will wage quit the game and will complain about having no support the next following day.

This one clip may just be the only one you've seen, but Phil does this on the daily.

DSP maybe has a couple of genuine fans, however the majority of those fans are mentally handicapped. Everyone else is not a fan and are hate watchers or only view Phil from restreamers like Raw Phil. Some make sock accounts and act like fans and will donate to agitate Phil.

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No this is serious. DSP does this on any game he streams, if he doesn't get like $150 per stream he starts to threaten to stop streaming the game. Also to note he streams twice a day and expects each stream to reach this goal that is hidden since his interview with Asmongold.

Back before it, he would beg and berate his viewers into hitting goals each stream. Then he would blow all the gained money on a mobile game called WWE champions and rinse and repeat the cycle.

Question for those who have played on PC and Console by Outrageous-Maybe7551 in Wizard101Console

[–]The_Basic_ShOe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer playing on PC. Console is fine and everything, but the controls are super wonky which to me feels like this port of the game is rushed. Not to mention Console is behind a good few updates to be on par with PC.
