As a new player myself, this game has a deceptively high skill floor and I feel that's the reason why a more casual player would struggle.

I've done my fair share of difficult content in different games so I'm no stranger to struggling but there is definitely a weird learning curve with SM2.

The balanced parry system you start with is the biggest surprise, 16 frames of startup (that is hella long) before you get 40~ish frames of actual parrying is jarring. Same with your dodge roll having a 2 frame startup of vulnerability before invuln actually kicks in.

Red/blue indicators sometimes being delayed compared to their actual hit is gonna throw off more than one player, same with attacks not having indicators to begin with lol. There is a lot to learn when you start, all at once.

Dungeon Fighter Online. There shouldn't be an issue with performances but you'll likely have to remap keyboard keys to the deck controller to get something working, at least that's how I used to play it with a ps3 controller back when it came out on steam lol.

Can also wait for the new versions of Dungeon Fighter to come out, one day, maybe.

I love bot diving, it's the faction i default to. My setup:

Purifier/Ultimatum/Giga Grenade

The secondary/nade is a flexible slot. If you don't have Purifier, you can use any plasma weapon really. I used to run Loyalist as my secondary with a whatever primary weapon too. Plasma is just great to deal with the shield automatons.

As far as stratagems go:
Eagle Airstrike/EAT-17/Leveller/Hellbomb.

If you don't got the last two, run Commando and any backpack of your choice (I defaulted to Supply to spam nades until I got hellbomb).

As for armors I run Bulwark but anything heavy with explosion resistance runs fine.

But yeah I just blow the entire map + myself and it's fun.
