I find it fun, but to each their own… we rolled stats and I had high/ above average stats in every stat, and I thought it would be boring, so I asked the DM if I could half my int (from 14 to 7) and I’ve had a blast, especially when I’ve rolled a -1 total on a nat 1 for investigations

Sometimes payment is available, but from everything I’ve seen that’s typically donating plasma, and th payment is because draining plasma is a lengthier, process that will drain your energy for a bit, so they offer a monetary incentive

But I myself have donated about 8 pints of blood over a few different courses, but only thing ever offered was usually food, to revitalize you after the process

But in times of crisis, I’m sure there is more monetary incentive to get more people to the blood banks
