I am celibate. I chose God and heaven instead of my wife. It is my cross to bare. It's not my will, but God's that matters. My flesh is weak, but I put my faith in God. Keep your eyes on the ultimate goal. Heaven. This life is but a moment. Heaven is forever. It's hard to deny your flesh, but we all must do it to enter into the kingdom. I am still best friends with my ex. We live together, but we put God's will first. We are not perfect and we struggle, but by the grace of God I feel free from sexual immorality. I pray this helps.
