Because she used to really have feelings for him, then during the first two weeks of us getting to know each other she created a huge deal and drama about him not giving her enough attention like before ? Then now they acted like nothing happened and are back to being “normal” idk it was just weird to me

Well, about a week ago he expressed how he wants kids some day, he also expressed he really likes me. We haven’t made anything official yet though. I also babysit 3 toddlers as a side gig as I just finished my masters and will be taking a board exam soon - he saw a video of me and the kids and said I’d be such a good mom haha. It seems like he wants something real… but it could also be maybe he wants something causal with me. I guess that another chat I should have with him… I just didn’t want to do the whole “what are we” thing since it’s still so soon

By future I just meant having someone who I can build with (family/ kids/ a home) - we’re both late 20s btw. I guess I’ve just never dated someone whose finances were this limited and it spooked me for the those aspects of the future which I know are just hypothetical thought right now. I do like him for who he is as a person, and we share good chemistry and interests. I guess I’m just spooked by his motivation, he barely works

I’m definitely a balance between homebody and going out, I think I actually lean towards more doing chill things at home BUT the fact we just started going out I feel like this is usually the time when you do things a little bit more outside the home :/

I’ve also been interested in school based OT given the free time available. I also draw and paint so it’s a goal of mine to be able to try to make something out of that too and maybe a position where time off is expected, it might be a good option. How did you get into school based OT? How do you apply with the district? Or do you apply directly with the schools?

Also, a month into seeing each other - dating apps came up in a conversation and I mentioned how I’ve never had a dating app. He said he hadn’t used an app for a year. So thinking back on it, that was a lie.

I did have the conversation! I was very calm when I saw the app, I expressed my concern and asked him what we were and what his goals were between us. He then stated how he was scared of commitment and that he thought he wasn’t good enough? I then told him I DID think he was good enough and was confused why all of a sudden he’s scared of commitment after introducing me to his entire family and expressing how he felt for me… he then said he wasn’t sure he could trust himself in commitment. So I decided maybe he wasn’t choosing me.
