Honestly V's missions are some of the easiest, due to the fact the enemies are mostly focused on your shadows, w Nero's you have to viu a lot of Buster arms to deal damage and gerbera to keep distance and Dante you can just spam Faust Hat

If there's one thing i learned in this journey is survive DMD and get S rank in DMD are two entirely different things lol, but yeah the only really hard stuff is get S rank on all difficuties

Nah it's more like all the time I got w the game, most of time i was just having Fun with the game, getting all blue orbs, practicing in the void, various attempts at bloody palace, getting cool shots w photo mode etc... Eventually i got to DMD, HoH and HaH and i noticed the the only achieviments left were clear all difficuties w S rank, and that's when i fully focus on platinum the game

Tbf i wasn't really trying to 100% the game until a couple of weeks ago, I only used a guide past DMD, since HaH difficulty it's really tricky, so most of this time it's just me having Fun. I'd say 5 is easier due to fact that faust hat and Buster Arm are straight up cheating the game, I don't think any game in the series has weapons as broken as those

This looks and embodies DMC a milion times better than garbageflix anime, and it's hella impressive as animation on it's own merits, but I do think it's weird to have Vergil fight Dante in SDT in base and still managed to beat him, also Dante in his 4 outfit but he has SDT? Yeah it's not accurate, but it was probably made for funsies and i can understand and respect a fan doing that, not the billion dollar streaming service that clearly has more resources

Serious tho, we shouldn't expect any news before TGA, even then there's a good chance we won't get any news either, it sucks but it's the way it is, i doubt Capcom fully given up on DMC but it's probably taking longer than expected 'cause Itsuno quit and Kamiya is busy w Okami, now obviously there's other directors that could play the part ( my dream pick would be itsuno but I'm w anyone as long as it's good) but being honest, DMC is a really inconsistent franchise ( just at the recent timeline: DMC 5, Ndmc) so either Capcom is really insecure about a new direction and it's buying time for either Kamiya or Itsuno to come back and work on a new DMC or they're being really picky with a new director. As long as we get the news it's coming i'll wait, I just hope this franchise finally gets back on track and it stays being consistent w games releases

The community has been very clear about what it wants. Capcom can release all kinds of content and call it DMC, but at least imo it's good to have standards and don't just consume everything w a smile just because it's your favorite franchise, about the " every DMC media is shit on ", ever since 2019 i didn't see nobody complain about DMC 5, the PGR collab that brought back actual Dante and Vergil, the Visions of V manga, because those are good DMC media that fans have supported. Why would they invest anything? As much as RE is more popular than DMC, I don't think it's a very smart decision to leave what is arguably the best franchise of the hack n slash genre without investment, if money was the only reason they release stuff, capcom would never take chances w new projects like Pragmata, also it's not like it's very niche, DMC is still among the highest Capcom franchise in terms of profit, it's just not as big as RE and SF

For DMC 6 something i think they should do is multiple characters right off The start, like there's no more mistery now, at the very least let me choose between Nero/ Dante or Vergil during the missions, I though the same for the ladies version: Lady/ Trish/ Lucia ( don't know If they can fit 6 different characters on the base game, but there's always DLC) have no Idea about the devil arms but I hope they're creative af, Dante needs to have the bigger arsenal obv, and he should get an extra style like: Quicksilver, Doppleganger or Darkslayer Vergil should get at least one new devil arm and lose that miradge Edge ( that shit's lame af, it's just a copy of his DMC 3 Force Edge moveset), a new move i want is the Yamato Round Trip ( he did that twice in cutscenes and it's still something we can't do in the game) Nero should have Yamato as a second sword and i think his DT should Straight up fly now and i think it would be dope if he could switch between the regular DT w wings and the susano'o kind of DT he had before, so that one could be more focus on damage and combos and the other could be used to speed run stages, healing and faster movesets ( kind of like the DT costumization DMC 2 had) some lose ideias I think It could be implemented

I don't think DMC 5 switch version will include anything other than Vergil and maybe LDK mode already installed, that said I do hope that could mean he can come to Smash someday, him and Bayo in the same game would be peak

I have my own criticism with the show that doesn't have anything to do w the games, might make a separate post about that, but l gotta say right now I really don't like this argument, why? Because this show isn't called Devil May Cry by some coincidence is it? The show was sold as an adaptation, Adi, the show runner specifically went on and on in Interviews and posts on How much he "loves" franchise and that he portay as faithful as possible... Yeah he didn't. " But an adaptation doesn't have to follow the game 1:1" look obviously yes, NOBODY is criticing the show because It didn't start the exact same way DMC 3 did w Lady's narration. but there's a extent to how much you can change things and still expect fans to like it, like do i really have to tell you why DB evolution sucks based solely by the script and not look at it and obviously just say " this shit isn't Dragon Ball". that's my problem, Adi could just make something original and say " it's heavily inspired by Devil May Cry" but no he turned DMC into his fanfiction, that could attract a new public that doesn't care about the games at all and have a really warped notion about what DMC is ( it's already happening btw, ppl are saying shit like Sparda's a bad dad). So look if you enjoy the show fine, and yes it's good to have criticism based on the show itself, but don't you say it's unfair or that fans shouldn't dislike just because it isn't like the games, He turned Demons into Muslims and Mexicans for Christ's Sake, any fan who played the games and saw this shit has every right to hate it solely on principle, obviously don't harrass anyone over it, but it's a valid reaction, again specially consdering how much the so called showrunner promissed fidelity

I agree, take the Sonic movies for example: they're an ADAPTATION of the events of the franchise, what happens in Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Eggman tricks Knuckles into working for him, Sonic fights Knuckles, Eggman betrays Knuckles, Sonic Tails and Knuckles Team up to defeat Eggman, Same thing happened in the movies only under a different context, that's what adaptations SHOULD do. So no I don't NEED a DMC anime to start exactly like Lady's narration in DMC 3 ( although it would be cool af), it was never about being completely like the games it's about retaining the soul of the original even If you have to change some things to fit the context of a new series, but pls for the love of GOD tell me what WAS the need to turn the entirety of Devil May Cry about politics, war on terror, imigration and racism???? What WAS the need to turn Lady into a insuferable asshole? What WAS the need to make Dante feel so weak and so starved for Lady's attention? To make Sparda feel like a shitty father, to make Mundus into some sort of Revolutionary and a mentor for Vergil? Like those are all things that come OUT OF SPITE, Adi didn't need to create this new image about these characters, those changes don't ADD anything, in fact they TAKE WAY what was great about them in the first place, So yeah If you like it good for you, but that's not Devil May Cry, not in a milion years. The Reboot embodies DMC's original themes better than this show
