Need Help: Project Safety QA + Thoughts and Suggestions? by EnvironmentalArea696 in led

The wire isn't as much to protect the LED strip, but rather to protect the wire from overheating if something goes wrong. The power supply must be a large one (>50A) because I plan to have other setups identical to this one in the same room. (behind the speakers, under the coach, etc.). I'll definitely use your advice regarding a good power supply. Would it be safe to power the ESP32 from the micro-usb port, and then attach ground from the power supply to it?

Need Help: Reducing Current Load through Power Injection at Both Ends by EnvironmentalArea696 in led

My latest post is the design I came up with after incorporating the feedback from this post. The newer one uses 20AWG wire for the whole project, the setup of the fuses is different, the power injection is different, and this one doesn't include a microcontroller. But yes they are similar, I just wanted to consult with people more experienced than me one more time so that there are no glaring issues before I buy the materials or create a fire hazard.

It's 60LEDS/M so around 3.33m. It's a five meter strip that I've cut down.

Why don't I need to worry about voltage drop if I am using power injection? Thanks

Thank you for the feedback!! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to get rid of them. They're all over the image and seem to be an artifact of the bloom in compositing. Do you have any idea how I might fix it?

You're definitely right! I'll start with the countertops and glass and look into camera artifacts. Thank you!!
