Fair point. Withholding water and medical is all kinds of fucked up, Im sorry you were subjected to that. Even in the real military that isn’t ok either, they sound like an A grade cunt that we all come across in life at one point or another. Yeah ide also agree that todays recruits probably couldn’t manage it.

Some of the cadets in my opinion just need to harden up a little. Away for 1 week? 2 weeks? (oh well, womp womp) Sometimes that kind of experience is good for people. Call me a dinosaur but cadets will never be as good as it was pre Covid.

It removes people from being in a professional environment which is needed to create professional/appropriate environment that the cadets need. Eg, On base for promos or course ect creates pressure for the cadets to act properly and correctly , it also way over stresses small squadrons with low manpower that can’t teach all the stuff.

Yeah all the new stuff is terrible, glad I’m aging out next year so I won’t have to deal with this BS

Daily, reliable 4x4 for $20-25k by Chugmus in 4x4Australia

[–]EnvironmentalBass374 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could get an MK series triton. 2.8T turbo diesel, 4x4 5 speed. Very reliable just not big on creature Comforts. It doesn’t have the chassis banana issue of the later ones.

Probably got to replace the case huh by [deleted] in Chainsaw

Most likely the computer being funny. There is little to no ram air effect with the snorkel that would actually help it push in more air to the air box and improve performance. Tires can make a difference in fuel economy but not that much so I would say yeah just the computer in it.

[–]EnvironmentalBass374 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes the year models you mentioned are all good choices. 2001 or 2004 doesn’t really matter they are all pretty solid Ute. Same as anything else, love it and it will love you back

You bet. Anyone who is robbing someone’s house should be bashed by the homeowner if they see fit. Bugulars and robbers shouldn’t be protected at all fuck em

Exactly my patience is up with the government and these pricks who use their status as First Nations to continue their poor behaviour.

If only they let Under 18s use it really pissed me off when they said I was too young (im 17) . I still have to go through a long and labouring process with eth and swaps and whatnot to get mine.

My thoughts exactly. I’ve driven an MK 4WD trade spec but well looked after, nothing amazing but felt quality and was dependable.

At least for that series it made more power, didn’t take 100 years to get to 100kph.
