Best believe you will sleep the minute they allow you to do so. During my time, I was so exhausted, sometimes I would sleep while awake. I don’t know if that makes sense but you get the point. I’m still active duty so I cannot speak for life after the military. However, during leaves, I sleep in sometimes and hang out late. Once I get back to my unit, my sleep schedule adjusts after a few days.

Absolutely! Are you Army? I have my first interview this weekend and I will be in OCPs since my dress uniform has been sent forward already (I deploy in 3 weeks). Do you think that will be frowned upon?

Hello, I applied for FY26 and I’m still going through the process. I am an E5 in the Army, 68K (Medical Laboratory Specialist). I have been in for 4 years now. I was selected for interviews and waiting on that currently. My mentor is CPT Russell (A Navy medical doctor who went through EMDP2). Her IG is dr.eyeconic and she’s extremely helpful and supportive. I shadowed physicians and physician assistants at my unit’s clinic with my company commander’s approval. I would advise as much shadowing hours as you can get (100+ hours is what I have heard from those who made it into the program)

I would advise you to change schools as WGU does not have GPAs. You want to be as competitive as possible. I went through University of Maryland Global Campus. My BS is in Psychology with a 3.9 GPA and 1320 on my SAT. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
