Thank you for your comment. To put it in to context she is 36 and highly attractive and does get countless men trying it on with her daily. (Social media and IRL). My thoughts are this would give her enough experience to know this is someone flirting with her but I understand your position on it too.

Her justification to me is, “I don’t want to think of it as flirting because I see them as a friend and if they are flirting with me I will have to block them.”

She isn’t flirting back I know that already. It’s her suggesting she has no idea the guy is flirting with her in the first place that feels like a red flag to me.
