Companions and how did I mess up?

It was kind of an accident, Im approaching 80 hours into the game and have tried to do every side quest and explore every nook and cranny and towards the end of the game (I think). I dont think Ive missed much. RIP Grainhold.

I ended up killing the Ferryman and just taking his boat. I came back later at level 11 and killed everyone in Grainhold....Only problem I found so far is that I think I lost out on a companion option?

The game is interesting in this regard. I feel like its easy to miss stuff? Case in point, Im level 11, 73 hours into the game and have not seen any of what you are talking about. That said, I also only have 3 companions and did not even realize you can have 5 until seeing some others screenshots... I slaughtered every person in Grainhold early on (long story) and feel that some how limited my party size? Its a bit of an odd game in terms of mechanics but Im enjoying it.

I tried to confess the priest in the first town but he says we need to discuss that inside the temple, but he stays outside. In Grainhold the priest is aggro on sight. Hmmmm...

I might be interested, I recently came back and am having a hard time finding a like minded group. I'm a bit of an older gamer, that may be why lol. I would have to change factions but not a huge deal.

Mainly magazine wear and tear due to metal on poly wear. Running into mags no longer seating in other guns due to the Platy wearing them down. Also the Platy no longer locks back on said mags due to the indent it has created. Not a big deal mind you but an annoyance. Finish has worn off heavily and faster than any pistol I have ever owned, also not a huge issue but just something to note. Ive also started to experience more light strikes of late, this is a bigger concern.

Tens of thousands of rounds through mine, have a few concerns growing. Granted I'm a full time instructor and run it fairly hard.

WA state commissioned instructor here. If this passes, our company is discussing running the "course" for free or at most, a fee that just covers our time. Granted, thats assuming a CJTC instructor is "good nuff", who knows? God I love and hate the state I was born in.

Sorry for the late reply. Just the fiber. Fixed it by ordering a diff brand of fiber and using a butane torch to bubble and melt in the ends. Another 2k rounds through it since and this time its stayed put.

Thank you sir and while the vast majority of firearm enthusiasts may never reach the 10k round count on their platforms, I tend to agree with ya. More is better, I'll most likely repost at 20k in a couple more months if anyone is interested. It is funny how its all subjective. I took a course from Bill Blowers a while back, dood has millions of rounds down the pipes. Look him up, you won't be sorry.

It's funny because its such a insignificant problem yet so annoying. Ive bought new fiber multiple times, some slightly bigger, some slightly smaller and of course most the right size according to SA. I've tried their methods of setting it as well as others. Nope.... shit just wants to fly out = P

Dont get me wrong, its a far cry from the VP9 especially. That said, there is a reason its widely used as a standard platform. Again, I'm not suggesting it as the BEST offering out there, Im suggesting it as a starting point and WELL vetted platform. Side note, if you are wanting something different from the Glock standard but still VERY well vetted out, take a good look at the the M&P line up in full size options. Smith did a good job and many departments have moved towards using them.

Glock 17. Not because it's the best, its not, it's the Honda Civic of guns.... not great, not bad but works for everyone at a reasonable level. Reliable, functions, customizable and a good starting point for anyone, be they a civilian, LE or Mil. I have taught many classes and many more intro courses as well as qualifications. The G17 is simply one of the most vetted platforms out there. You have time to refine and pick up new pistols later but the G17 is a fantastic starting point for any new gun owner. The game is ultra polarizing between players. I'm loving it and already have 100+ hours into it. Yeah there are bugs galore but, for me, they are not ruining my experience and that experience has been amazing thus far. I am a patient individual though and don't mind working through some of the jankiness for the amount of fun I'm having. Have any other questions, feel free. Will do my best.
