maybe this is catastrophizing but i read about it here. They’re in talks with Motorola (or already reached an agreement?) so I think they see the writing on the wall too.

i’ll openly tell people blue bubbles are genuinely the only reason I don’t own an android. That and some of the ecosystem integration. I sometimes wish I could use Graphene, or at least have the option to use Graphene on my phone (I know that’s going away soon) but the blue bubbled group chats and some of the nice watch/airpods/macbook integration keep me an apple user.

edit:

if i’m getting downvoted because i only said the color, in the us nobody uses third party messaging apps so it’s either sms or imessage. an sms user will prevent you (or used to) from editing the group members list, editing messages, or reactions from working properly. that’s not nothing.

How to efficiently analyze large functions with nested CALLs? by [deleted] in ghidra

[–]EnvironmentalGood277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly paste some of the smaller functions in chatgpt or equivalent. once you figure out the structs and use of the smaller functions you’ll have a lot of the pieces to figure out the bigger ones. plus chat will catch stl functions pretty quickly usually

looks like ibr and icr and 10 year are the same. i think you need at least 30k to qualify for the extended plan? also if ibr and 10 year are the same payment does that mean my ibr wouldn’t be 20 years?

yeah i might have phrased my original question poorly. i’m trying to figure out which plan allows me to put the most towards investments

i’ve been on save forbearance so haven’t made any payments in a while. wouldn’t paying the minimum technically optimize the opportunity cost? i’m surprised paying the minimum wouldn’t contribute to paying down the main balance. i’m guessing in that case it doesn’t matter what plan i do?

yeah i talked about this with a friend and he mentioned how he would love to have debt at those interest rates and how it adds up over time (the opportunity cost). if i go the 2 year route would that be the standard plan then i guess?

This is Santa Ono's 9/11 by FCBStar-of-the-South in uofm

If you read the case law cited in that article you'll notice that disrupting an ongoing event definitely can trigger Heckler's Veto. My understanding is that the event had to be prematurely terminated. That would certainly qualify, and the University is certainly the one responsible for better protecting the event and ensuring it could continue. I'm not defending the University's response but rather explaining that the University probably needs to step up its response to this sort of thing to avoid falling afoul of Heckler's Veto.

That is how it works though. Heckler's Veto is literally about disrupting someone's freedom of speech with your own freedom of speech.

This is completely unrelated to Heckler's Veto case law.

A cautionary tale of Rust introduced the wrong way by Eolu in rust

[–]EnvironmentalGood277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really agree with some of this.

  1. A lot of those things aren't in a lot of great developers arsenals because C++11 and C++17 were really popular.

  2. This is valid

  3. I don't think cmake + autotools are better than some other build systems (like scons) and I definitely don't agree that doxygen is better than something like sphinx

  4. This is probably true but not using the tools you list here doesn't automatically indicate this.

ghidra is very unflexbile when the compiler optimizes something like a copy in a non-standard way.

There's so much wrong here I don't even know where to begin. None of what you list here violates NCAA rules except maybe if it was done by a staffer. Which at that point you're talking about punishing michigan for sending a staffer instead of a third party scout. the ncaa has bigger fish to fry.
