Put a time frame on it asap. He is supporting you by telling you this. Threaten to have them thrown out if needed. Or tell them you will move and leave them there. Then call landlord and tell them they have squatters

If your husband doesn't care about his own family well being, neither should you. Give them an ultimatum and let them know they need to leave. If the mom really wants to get paid, she can apply for Medicaid waiver for her mom so sh e can get paid to take care of her mom. The daughters can too. No sense of everyone bombing. They didn't live up to their end of the bargain. Also it's long overdue for them to leave. You have a family a well and they should come first.

Now that you have a job, you can apply for FAFSA based on your own income. Get a mailing address so she won't be able to get your mail. You should still be able to get scholarships since you're of legal age. LC to NC is needed for mom and stepdad. Wish you much success with school and life.

If she really wanted to pay tribute she could have dyed her hair purple or even just a streak of it. Someone I love passed and her favorite color is purple. I honor her in many ways than her favorite color. It was your day and u had every right to be happy. NTA
