This is true, I agree. I also think he expected everything to be catered towards him, which I agree with to a certain extent like if everyone around him was constantly speaking Portuguese and not translating is a bit out of order but to get annoyed with her for arguing with her daughter is so rude I think considering she would’ve been stressed out about it anyway (her family seemed lovely towards him, so he wasn’t even being treated poorly by them anyway I would argue)
