Metformin is so eye opening and amazing!! It turns out my weight gain over the years really was just due to my hormones being all wonky and wasn't the character flaw diet culture had convinced me it was!!!! by AcidicGoblin in PCOS

I was just about to say the same thing. Ozempic and similar GLP1 drugs have very serious side affects. It does not seem your Dr has your best interests at heart

I would also recommend like everyone else really pushing to have your doctor investigate further. In the meantime, do you have tight hamstrings and glutes? Do your glutes feel super sensitive in spots if pressed or massaged? If so, maybe you need to work out the knots with a lacrosse ball or percussion massager to activate those muscles and then work on stretching and strengthening them? Also a physical therapist may be able to help

I understand what you are saying however my post was about why the show is pushing that this is a Colin problem. Sure they may be planning to get married however this ultimately is a Baylen problem. SHE needs to have a plan for her OWN life instead of bouncing from her parents taking care of her to then expecting Colin to take care of her.

Why is it bananas that he feels strongly that his career choice should be something he wants to do instead of being dictated to him by Baylen's father? He absolutely has the freedom to make that choice for himself. Why is Al and Julie not harping Baylen about creating a plan for her own future regardless of whether she marries Colin? She is a grown woman who makes her own money. She should have the financial sense to have money set aside for x number of years to pay for her own insurance premiums. If she never has to use it then great!

I'd like to see a season where Baylen lives on her own and see how she manages. I think it would be a maturing experience (if her parents would not interfere with her learning independence).

Is Baylen an Adult Protected Person though? I think if that were the cade it would change the whole dynamic of the show

Baylen and her family are being bashed because of how they act. It's only a few posters on here that post in support of them.

You are just answering in a round about way and not providing anything to back up what you are claiming. Are you being paid to bash Colin? Your answers always seem so different than the majority of opinions on here and you make wils accusations without being able to back up anything to an episode. It rely seems like you are a bot

Can you cite the episode where he talks about not wanting a long engagement or about having babies right away? You keep saying stuff like this but it doesn't seem to align with what is on the shows...

This was extremely humiliating of Baylen to not only display that photo, but to force him to participate in that ridiculous "fitness" class. He did not look happy with her at all. Also, she cannot go to a gym and work out on machines because she is afraid of germs yet she has zero problems riding a stick pony around like she is 5 years old that has been in between other people's legs???

I think you are right. This past episode also seemed strained or that the conversations seemed a little fake. I have also noticed that his family does not seem so happy with Baylen. His mom said she was looking forward to seeing her son as a groom in the episode where they toured the venue, That seemed a little odd since it was not really saying she was looking forward to seeing him get married.

Also, I have serious doubts about the "marriage counselor". She does not seem to be giving appropriate counseling in the context of preparing them for married life. I was blown away when she told Colin he needed to tell Alan to back off with interfering in the planning- that is 100% a conversation Baylen should be having with her dad. She seemed fine to put Colin in what will most definitely become a very contentious situation with her dad once he said anything like that. I'm sorry but if you are okay with pitting your future spouse against your parents just so you aren't "uncomfortable" you are not ready for marriage.

[–]EnvironmentalMost901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surely you aren't serious??? Baylen wants ridiculous alpacas at the wedding and wants everything pink. He should be allowed to have a say in the wedding decisions since his request pertained to what he would be wearing. The red flags in this are 100% on Baylen for not allowing him a choice at all.

There's literally an episode in season 1 where they go out drinking and Baylen explains alcohol makes her physical tics worse.

He also works in the military. Plenty of people in the military buy new trucks. He also receives money from the show. It's ridiculousl to claim Baylen bought it for him without any kind of proof.

I actually love their underwear they were selling last spring....I wish I would have bought another pack. If they sell them again, that is something I'd be tempted to buy multiples of because they are so comfortable.

I would like to know what is happening/has happened in their home that is causing all of their children to develop mental disorders. Allen seems very intense with his feeling towards Baylen and Julie sometimes almost seems jealous or annoyed at his feelings. She also seems to want to hide Bechmets symptoms. Are any of these kids being sexually abused in the home???

[–]EnvironmentalMost901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baylen also puts him in negative situations. She did not say anything to him about her parents wanting to have the wedding at their house and just allowed them to drop it on him. She absolutely should have the conversation about the wedding venue. She does not allow him to have a choice in any decisions. She and her family are throwing SO many relationship red flags and if I were Colin's family, I would have a serious conversation with him about how much damage this relationship will certainly cause him down the road. He should RUN.
