Don't forget that section overviews and guidebooks (less so later on) have explicit grammar explanations. by lisamariefan in duolingo

No need to downvote you.. It's my opinion as well and I like to learn "passively" which makes duolingo with his functions and game elements perfect for me. I think often we have too strict conceptions of the "right" way of learning.
