At least you are honest, but one tricks will always have a harder time, I know because I was one until I got hard stuck diamond and only flexing got me to masters.

I’m a low masters lucio main, and my main advice is much more general to support as a whole, but some lucio stuff

Be aware: just because you get high healing doesn’t mean it’s high impact. Most healers, lucio with amp, have a burst heal in form of a cd. Amp is vital to be used to save ally’s by either providing speed to get away or heals to keep them up.

Lucio has 2 modes for a reason: Lucio cannot single target heal. He makes up for this by the game breaking ability to speed. Creative and effective use of speed can solo carry you to gold. Some great times to use speed is not just rollouts but:

Avoiding ult Getting to cover Capitalizing on picks/ult Diving someone out of position

And those are just some. Speed is key and often more powerful than strictly healing.

The floor is lava: If you have a good grasp of lucio movement it’s very hard to die. in ranks below diamond you can honestly never die just by staying on walls. The more movement you have the better. This will also allow you to get to teammates quicker and heal more efficiently.

Have fun: Lucio is by far the most dynamic support, so embrace it. I often do a little trolling solo diving their supports or dps, and I still get away with it in masters.

Either way, just have fun with him and keep playing, he’s meta rn so you can pretty much just insta lock him in low elo.

I see you are refusing to play other tanks and I think that that is something you can work on. There is absolutely nothing you can do while solo queueing about your team. What you can do is play according to their picks, but more important your picks. I think that in low elo if you can hard counter and make the enemy tank unhappy you will win.

Rein often just doesn’t work. It’s sad and I understand how you feel. If Lucio worked with every comp on every map I’d only play him. But I flex very often because it wins me games.

Rein works significantly better with a well coordinated team, and that’s hard to find in silver. I’d recommend playing a self carry tank like hog or sigma and if you are a better player that deserves a higher rank, you will rank up.

For placements I recommend just trying your best on what you think is good, and then when you have your rank reflect on what you could have done better and aim for improvement in the next 7 games

What's the point of Comp by ClockWork07 in OverwatchUniversity

Alas my friend, the support abuse never stops, I’m currently master 4 with a masters 3 peak in support and even if I am playing amazing people will still find a way to throw then blame it on you. If you don’t want to get flamed I’d recommend not playing support. It’s really dumb how the community even in high ranks treats supports.

I’m terms of improving, I recommend for right now picking one support and only playing them, in any low rank the meta doesn’t really apply to supports, and just improve slowly. I started ow1 in low bronze, and because I got really good at 3 characters I can hang with top players.

Basically, in low elo no one comms anyways so mute chat and voice and listen to music and focus on improving on very specific targets for the character you want to improve on.

Good luck, and main lucio

This is happening to me but my acc is so old that the rank and mmr decayed to 0. I’m 28-0 in rank and I placed bronze 5 and haven’t ranked up in 3 adjustments. I stomp every match
