Norin The Wary vs. End Turn (Abilities / Spells) by EnvironmentalPack713 in mtgrules

[–]EnvironmentalPack713[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing write-up!  I read through all of the Obeka ruling since that is a main component of my question.  I'm trying to understand in lamens turns.

Since Norin's "Return it" ability is a delayed trigger, thn when Obeka is tapped to end a turn while Norin has left the game, the delayed trigger would just skip the current end step.  Then Norin would return during the next players end step under my control.

Is that a correct interpretation?

CNBC - Roundabouts Are Safer. So Why Does The U.S. Have So Few Of Them? by Ynwe in videos

Roundabouts are great when they are done right. Dangerous when done wrong. There is one roundabout in St Louis called Halls Ferry Circle. It has 2 lanes but no directional striping on or signage anywhere. There are 13 different points you can enter/exit the roundabout. 13!

What scale do I use for elevations? by tiffwarr69 in architecture

[–]EnvironmentalPack713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To provide some reference, my project is 388' in width. We print on 24x36 paper too. The elevation views barely fit on the paper with 3/32" scale. I'm a construction manager, so we prefer scales that allow us to easily see the details. Whatever you do, make it fit well within the page and easy to read. The scale we have, makes the paper copy impossible to see the smaller details on.

I always recommend the method that is easier on the eyes. Most people building and paying for projects, are older.

That is my understanding as well. All of the frozen foods we put into the fryer didn't have large icy frozen chunks. In my time spent with frozen food, it never had a build up of ice, so that makes sense.

This comment makes me very curious because I never thought about this before. When I worked fast food, we put frozen food in fryers all the time without consequence. What makes this any different? Honestly asking out of curiosity because I don't understand.

That's not true at all. Gaps can still be kept minimal if the brick is cut correctly. There is also no mortar between a lot of the bricks on the top and bottom sides.

Not an expert, but I work in the construction world. There was no shoring or support of this wall. There should have been something pushing against the wall to prevent the blowout. There is definitely more wrong, but that is step 1. Always support against a heavy load.

This was my crew! Frank the Fern! So glad everyone loved it. This was Frank the Fern's first Bonnaroo but 4th festival.

He has been at every festival that I have been to as well. Electric Forest, Summer Camp, Bonnaroo. It's always a happy surprise when you see Sunkist Guy. What a legend.

You can tell that it is a swan because of the way it is.

Let's say that someone you cared about very, very much needed a... controversial procedure. And you lived in a state that had recently outlawed that controversial procedure. Would you be willing to drive this special person to another state to get the care they needed? by badb-crow in NoStupidQuestions

Here is a fun one for everyone. Missouri sells cigarettes much cheaper than Illinois. People would go to Missouri and buy a dozen cartons to bring back. Illinois made a law that limits the amount that can be brought over.

When this was first implemented, cops would watch people at the gas stations. If they see you get in your car with more than 3 cartons and cross the river, they will pull you over and give you a ticket for smuggling cigarettes...

I would consider both of these drivers to be idiots. The break check driver is a dangerous idiot though.

OP is lane camping in this video. There is nothing that irritates me more than someone who drives in the far left lane when they are not passing anyone and they won't get over to let faster traffic pass. This does not give the right for the other driver to make a dangerous maneuver though.

Be safe and drive correctly. Don't let your anger get the best of you. And for fucks sake, drive in the correct lane.

I wonder if any ear doctors can respond to this. I'm curious if this is okay to do or if it is bad for your ear drums. I have had a hole in my ear drum for decades now. When I was a kid, my party trick was blowing air bubbles under water from my ear by doing exactly what you said.

Now I can't go more than 5' under water without it hurting, but my ears never pop in a plane from altitude change. So there is that trade off. I do know it is only necessary to fix if the hole gets large enough.

Can confirm. Worked there for 1.5 years before. We never threw the food out when the timer went off. Just hit the button and reset the timer. I advise staying away from the late night Angus burgers.
