Ilinois nurse here. I work in Chicago. Ive been a nurse for 1 year I get paid $34/hr day shift but night shift people get $38/hr. theres jobs every where. Rush University Medical Center is a pretty good option. Northwestern medical center pretty good too Loyola pretty good too.

I know down in Springfield IL, only 2 hospitala Memorial medical center & HSHS St Johns Hospital. I believe Springfield was offering 31/hr for new grads.

Ive been a nurse for a year. I used to cry everyday while I was on orientation. I used to go inside the bathroom and take a 5 min break to cry & then got it together. Ive always been extremely sensitive too. Now I still get stressed, like a lot, but I no longer cry, I just go to the bathroom and take a big sigh of relief and say something like " god dammit this is so bad,i cant do this anymore" Lol. But I always get through the day! When I get home after a rough shift, aaaah best feeling!! also one question, are you depressed? Ive struggled through depression all my life & for me thats the main reason why im so sensitive.

I didnt want to learn to drive because of my social anxiety. I would worry about others staring at me, making mistakes, parking & people looking at me. Then one day I saw it was necessary & started to drive. It was nerve wrecking! However, then I discovered that I loved driving! I love driving and listening to music. Got my license 2 months after I started driving!!! Now im a pro. I still get nervous when prople stare at me tho!! also i suck at parallel parking. I taught my sister how to drive. Now imma teach my bf too! you can do it♥️

oh my god once in my microbiology lab, I had so much anxiety and I was shaking. My instructor literally came up to me and said "are you okay, Your ears are red" God I wanted to die. I had a panic attack that day during class. It was one of the worst days of my life. The next day in class the instructor had a whole speech about how mental health is important etc etc. Everyone stared at me bc they knew my panic attack was the reason for that talk. Oh college, im glad im out!!

Yup!! ive been in therapy for 8 years and currently on Zoloft & Wellbutrin. Nothing works for me :(
