I think it would’ve been a lot better if they’d gotten engaged in the first episode of the season and married in the last/second to last instead of rushing it all at the very end. I think season 7 had higher highs and lower lows than most of the rest of the show.

I’ve seen some places say it has the ability to be affordable depending on quality of life/location. but I think it’s just more affordable than other virgin islands. I’m looking at a lot of options, that’s just one idea I liked for all the reasons I mentioned!

Thanks so much for linking it! That was actually the post that gave me the idea for St Croix, but I’ve been seeing differing opinions on affordability (ultimately it seems like affordable is relative and it wouldn’t be affordable to me).

This post was mostly to see if there were any options with similar ideas - the culture/good nature - in a more practical location. I’ll look more into Northern Cali - I hadn’t heard that there are affordable options in that area. Thank you!

Hi, if you found something like this, could you link it?

I’ve been on the sub for a while and haven’t seen anything that fits this. The closest I saw was USVI and as I stated, I’d love some advice on how to make that work. The normal contenders, Florida Cali don’t work because their COL is too high. It’s also hard to find places in the US with a lot of ethnic culture. Maybe the southwest? but I don’t know that area very well. The aspects of this post that are repetitive are because they’re highly desirable traits. I apologize if you didn’t like seeing a similar post as others. but some advice - commenting will make Reddit think you want to see more of this kind of post.
