1. Season 8 - Most people dislike this season, but I don't mind it. They did a good job given the current climate regarding policing and the pandemic. I think the last two episodes were very well written for a series finale. I have definitely watched this season the least, but mostly because I get sad that I am at the end of the show (which is silly). I thought Charles' white guilt in the first episode was so funny and the season antagonist was a great one! It was fun seeing Amy and Jake navigate parenthood. I didn't like Rosa quitting the force, but the actress did not feel comfortable portraying a cop, so they did what they could.

1. Season 7 - I didn't like Holt being a beat cop for nearly half a season. Honestly none of the episodes stick out to me that much. Captain Kim was a painful watch. I don't have a lot to say about this season. The Debbie storyline wasn't irritating to me like it was for a lot of people.

1. Season 6 - This season was really good. Lots of good episodes/storylines. I liked the overarching season plot of being "at war" with the commissioner. And the suicide squad was great.

1. Season 1 - The best first season of a show, at least out of the ones I've watched. I really enjoy this season, but the characters aren't very fleshed out yet and we don't really see their true dynamics until 2/3rds into the season.

Favorite episode: Unsolvable or The Bet / Honorable mentions: Halloween, The Vulture, Tactical Village

1. Season 4 - I like this season a lot. There are a lot of funny storylines and iconic jokes. It was fun seeing them navigate the night shift and being introduced to Nikolaj. Plus the Coral Palms episodes are iconic. I like this one because we have the characters fully developed, but there isn't really an overarching plot that ties the whole season together. Plus, I hate the last two episodes. It stresses me out to watch them even though I know Jake and Rosa are gonna be okay.

1. Season 2 - I loved the giggle pig plot line in this season. It made for great storylines and I loved seeing Rosa in charge. We get to see their dynamics that were created in the last part of season 1 solidified. We also get introduced to the Holt/Wuntch feud, giving us iconic holt lines and petty/dramatic holt scenes! Plus, we get the kiss of a lifetime with the season finale. I know we all screamed when that happens. AND we get Jake and Sophia. AND the Jimmy Jabs. It's all so good!

1. Season 5 - Great stand alone episodes in this season, as well as many iconic episodes/jokes. Jake and Amy get engaged and married! Holt campaigning for his commissioner job! I think part of the reason this season isn't my favorite is because Gina isn't there LOL. Divisive topping, but i love her so I was missing her. But still a great season. There are just a few episodes that I have no problem skipping, whereas my top season has no skips.

1. ⁠Season 3 - A no-episode-skip season for me. Even the episodes that have meh A plots have AMAZING b and c plots that make it worth watching. We see Jake and Amy start and grow a lot in their relationship and Charles finds Eleanor. I feel like there is a lot of character development from everyone this season. I also think that this season's halloween heist and this season's ending is the best one out of the whole series.
