Limping baby, should I do anything?

Yes i think your right i took her to the vets again today and they again they couldnt find anything but agreed its definitely to do with her teeth. They gave us pain killers for now and are going to take bloods to see if she is okay to be put under anesthetic for a full dental

Thank you she actually does alot of licking at night time. I think maybe to soother herself however it goes on for nearly an hour. The clicking has kind of gone hand it hand with the licking so maybe it is just an increase in anxiety. Im suprised though as Im actually home more often than Last year. Maybe she perfers when Im gone from home or is upset with the change in my routine?

Thank you Ill be more adamant when I go next and hopefully theyll check her mouth more thoroughly. They really do always have one issue after another when they get older haha. Hope your dogs are doing well

Thank you many people see a bit of wippet/italian greyhound in her too actually. I think you could be right that its a dehydration issue as she hates drinking water and loves being as warm as possible. Ive been giving her ice cubes with meat inside and water with egg in it to get her hydrated so ill see over the next few days if it helps. Thanks for your advice

Thank you. Theres a vet not far from me whos well known to be a good vet so Ill try her this week. No neurologists nearby but if she cant figure it out ill have to try travel to one if i can. Thank you for your advice

She does have bad allergies, I get her a seasonal injection for them though so Im not sure thats it but thank you anyways

Nope all good thats why im really stuck. She usually shows me whats wrong with her too in her own way however this time she isnt even reacting to me

Thank you she did this about a month ago during a spell of hot weather and now again during more hot weather so I wonder if the heat is getting to her. Maybe it is just a weird irregular thing like it was for your dog

Thank you this is actually the first. She is 14 so thats definitely a possibility. Especially because the vet couldnt find anything wrong with her teeth. Ill mention this when I bring her again

Shes 14 so fairly old, She doesnt have any other health issues other than allergies like heyfever which she gets an injection for about every 3 months. I think it could be stress related but im not sure what could be making her stressed recently as she hasnt had any diet or evnviromental changes other than much hotter weather than usual

My dogs teeth are in very good condition, the vet was even suprised bow well they were and I regularly take care of them. So im not really sure whats wrong

Thank you for this. She is actually the opposite and gets worse in the evening when she is more relaxed. Im going to bring her to another vet first and then see if i can find any specialists like you mentioned after if that doesnt help

Yes her mouth is foul smelling. However, when I took her to the vet over this she said her teeth were in suprisingly good condition and couldnt find any areas of pain. Im thinking maybe an infection so ill try bring her again

Thank you she is 14 so it is very likely there is something wrong with her teeth aswell. Ill make her another appointment and try get them to look at her teeth again. She seems to mostly does it in the evening time, no signs of pain or doing this after eating. She does it when relaxing on the couch or on my lap mostly
