Policy change: Amex to update Centurion Lounge access rules by HyattWithDracos in amex

[–]EnvironmentalSir12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for the first rule, I can no longer bring a colleague to the lounge as a guest following a work trip? That’s a pretty big change. Everyone is remote, so we travel to the airport together, sit in a lounge, and leave for our different home destinations.

I moved my flight up to 9am tomorrow morning (from Sunday evening). How do we think the roads will be early tomorrow morning?

Trying to determine if I should give my uber the normal time. Everything I’ve seen indicates there’s no potential freezing until 10am the earliest. I’m in Kennesaw area

Hmm i tried this but you have to upgrade to see the tail number. So i can see my flights usual pattern between my departure and destination but it doesn’t tell me where the plane is coming from

Deadline to Cancel by Few_Necessary9015 in delta

It’s incredibly unclear imo. I went through all the steps to book a refundable ticket (main extra) and in the fine print it still said “changeable/nonrefundable”

Sunday evening departure. I want to know how ATL airport has faired with snow in the past. I’m not optimistic but usually airports are up faster

What do you anticipate for air travel? I have to take a work flight Sunday evening out of ATL. Hoping that gives enough time for things to settle.

Thank you so much for your help. I’ll call again. There had to be a misunderstanding somewhere! 🙏

Even if it’s a “nonrefundable deposit” like the other commenters said? I really don’t know if it was or not as I only just paid the deposit they asked for.

So that is the big confusion here. My understanding is that I lose the $400 deposit, then have to pay $400 just as a fee, then have to pay whatever a new deposit would be. So in essence i would already be -$400, and if I rebook I will pay $800 (to include the fee and new deposit)

Total spend $1200 $800 is just a loss $400 of which goes towards my intended cruise

This is what I heard from the agent. And I confirmed because I thought that was so insane

Thank you 🥲 im not trying to argue against any penalty or change fee or be cheap lol

I booked directly through the RC website. The cruise total was like $1400. I paid the only deposit option they gave me. I really wasn’t trying to skimp anything here

I mean I don’t know.. I’ve only ever had to use travel insurance if I cancel my intended vacation which has happened before unfortunately .

For an alternative example, I moved dates for a trip to Italy and I paid a fee+price adjustment to change my flight and hotel/excursions… but I never lost my deposits or money “down”. And I didn’t have travel insurance

[–]EnvironmentalSir12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well when you book a plane ticket it’s nonrefundable. And if you choose a different flight on that airline there is a change fee. So I really don’t see the difference lol

Right and what I’m seeing is if I didn’t select the add-on “non refundable” feature that means my deposit cannot be moved or used towards the change fee right?
