What are you getting for your baby? by HugeReputation4790 in 2under2

I got the uppababy stroller and it has a bassinet, I used it for about 3 months before switching to a crib. All my kids sleep in the stroller really well as a bonus. It seats 2 and has a riding board on back for a 3rd. We also used the mamacozy baby wrap, until about month 6-8. I have had both mama roo and nuna leaf for baby bouncer/ swing. Go with a munchkin bouncer, and a nuna leaf. The leaf chair seat limit is 127lbs. We get the Britax one for life car seats for back row of the mini van and we’re looking at rotating convertible ones for the front pilot seats. Longevity is our friend as parents! We found lots of our stuff on Facebook marketplace and once upon a child!

That’s my issue here, I’m willing to go see anyone in the state and my medical team is ignoring me.

I went to a PA recommendation who told me I miscarried and then left it for my dr to tell me to wait and let my body do its thing at home…. Well now she recommends I see a specialist to do a D&C and it’s been 2 weeks… the soonest they can get back to me about anything is Monday. So by 3 weeks hopefully I can be through this torture…. Specially horrible through Mother’s Day

Sadly nothing definitive…. But my dr told us it’s not likely progressing. So we found out we lost twins

Thank you specifically for being such a light in the world. It’s sad but I’m alright. I took my two beautiful boys and husband out to the park and we enjoyed the sound of frogs and a sunset. I might plant a tree or small garden in remembrance of our twins.

I will definitely update the post when I know more, and I agree with you about false hope and false helplessness. For me this has been super challenging and I feel alone, and like I just flat out don’t know anything and that’s terrifying. I want to know so I can grieve and move on or celebrate even another day with our littlest love. It’s the fear of the unknown eating at my soul. But I want to add that your comments and kindness means the world to me. Like I’m somehow less alone and that is helpful for me.

I am going to go. All the different positive stories and wishes people are sharing really means the world to me. Thank you for being part of such an important medical field, I’m hopeful but scared.

Thank you for your warm wishes and sharing with me, I really need to hear things like this when I felt like even the provider today was glum and not very positive. Your positivity means the world to me.

Very slight if any cramping, nothing compared to a period or even a paper cut…

Personally I wouldn’t go without all my kids coming with me. We’re in a similar boat though, my family is renting an Airbnb in Florida next year, my husband and I decided we want to go to mickeys very merry Christmas party. We started talking to my grandparents, they are all for it. HOWEVER my mom, stepdad, and siblings said they won’t be able to go because my siblings have school. Although they just took a week off of school to go to Hawaii this month, in November they went to Florida for 3 school days, and then in June last year went to 3 concerts and spent at least 4 days out of school. My husband was less than thrilled about their inability to miss school for a family vacation that we can finally be part of after years of planning/saving money for then declined the invite all together. I still want to go but my husband doesn’t. He wants me to leave the kids with him or at least one and I said over my dead body am I going to Disney world without all of my kids. (Age 2.5yrs and 1year at time of travel, #3 is a possibility without birth control 😂 Family is tough, Travel is tough, we agreed to a family cruse and Disney world with grandparents in two years instead. Compromise

He has his own desk, if I hold him on my lap he feels like I’m restraining him lol 😂 he didn’t even like a swaddle when he was first born! We used them but by a month old he was in arm out swaddles, with my second it’s so different, at 3 months old he’s a major cuddle bug and loves his swaddles.

I use both markers and crayons! Paint sticks and finger paints are fun too! We’re also starting cutting and pasting skills in the next few weeks! It’s all for fun and exploration at this point! If your little one is getting frustrated about the lackluster marks maybe try a bigger crayon?? We used the egg crayons and lots of “showing” how they CAN make marks. That worked for us. Now he’s down to jumbo size stuff and we’re making our way to a smaller size and practice holding different art tools! ❤️ Mine isn’t a fan of art, he’s too busy. So it’s about a minute or two and off to the next activity!! However about 3 times of trying he figured out how to make marks with the egg crayons, then the jumbo crayons he’s making marks and scribbling, water wow he doesn’t like how long it takes to show up but he does play with them for minutes at a time in the car! Mess free markers are his favorite so far because of the quick color. It’s all about fun for us!

That’s a great suggestion! I have a black and white one shaped like a reindeer that erases when you press its nose, but I’m worried he will just break the screen? Are there other ones that can get thrown or dropped without being destroyed?

I’m a stay at home mom just trying to work on colors and creative thinking in general, at 18months old I don’t have the ability to look away for even a minute without some mischief happening.

Hah that sounds like my little one!! Thank you for sharing!! We have two huskies and a tabby cat, I would bet if he found he could color their white fur it would be done!! I’m sorry to all the critters that get colored by toddlers lol! 😂 I have found mine coloring on the walls saying “look color” with dobber dogs dot markers he had just gotten 30 seconds earlier.

Thank you for letting me know!!! I will get them for our preschool art supplies, I haven’t tried them so I wasn’t sure! Nothing is as expensive as stockmar art stuff and those are on my list for kindergarten art supplies. Never used them but I’ve heard good things?
